The Lindo Mahogany 931C is one of a range of the Lindo Apprentice Series acoustic guitars, created in the U.K by Lindo Guitars for beginner players.
The 931C has been ultimately designed to be affordable and very playable, as well as having those subtle details and use of quality woods that make all Lindo guitars look and sound great.
The 931C body is made from high quality linden and the soundboard (top) is mahogany which is then crafted into a compact auditorium shape. For such a modestly priced guitar, it provides a lovely warm tone as well as bright and punchy highs. A black walnut fretboard then accompanies these warm tones with a catalpa neck and a 3-a-side headstock with a stylish gold Lindo logo.
A black walnut bridge and ABS saddle, along with an ABS nut, carry and control the tone of each string to a set of open-gear, smooth action chrome machine heads with ABS lozenge buttons. Simple and decorative, these machine heads not only ensure the guitar holds a perfect tune but finishes the design off with added detail.
Playability
The action on the 931C is really light and low so gives the guitarist the feeling of ease when playing and can help beginners when learning scales and chords. This is encouraged by the C-shaped neck profile which is extremely user-friendly for both strumming accompaniment and fingerstyle playing. The 931C also features a Venetian cutaway in the body, which allows for access further up the neck. It is also fitted a string-through black walnut bridge to make string changes quicker and easier.
The 931C has a dynamic balance across the neck and produces a generous amount of sound even with a slightly smaller body size. As well as the fine precision of the top end frequencies, the warm bottom end and rich mid tones will satisfy the most demanding of guitarists.

Comes with the scratch plate separate so you can choose whether to have one or not which is a nice touch. Would recommend highly for anyone looking to get into playing a guitar, although the strings can be quite hard to push down, but that gets easier with practice

This is my second guitar and I love it. All the other reviews seem to have it spot on. It gives a real clear and nice sound. Very easy to play compared to my other guitar and it looks the part. Incredibly happy with this purchase. The only negative is how it holds the tuning, which is fine, just that it will slowly drop out after a few good hours.

I hadn’t played guitar in 15 years when I decided to pick it back up and ended up buying this one. It’s a great practice guitar with a comfortable size (I’m 5’7″), low action and more than decent sound. After using it daily for nearly 2 months, my only complaint is that the strings have gotten quite buzzy, but I’m hoping to fix that with a set of new strings and quick adjustment to the neck using the tool that came with it.
If you’re a beginner or intermediate who wants to get into steel string and don’t want to spend a fortune, I’d say this guitar is a good choice.

Its a great cheap guitar that sounds great. I keep it as a second guitar and for guests, at the price the build, sound and tone is brilliant. The action is also very good, its quite low and easy to play bar chords on. I’m an absolute beginner at this point of time. I wanted to learn this through Yousician. I’ve never played a guitar before so I don’t know much about how the best sounding guitar would sound like. I went to few shops, tried few guitars and placed an order in Amazon, because the price for a Mahogany top Guitar in shops are just too much. And I can tell you one thing after I received this guitar, this sounds great to me, at least to me, this has a great warm sound. Bass- its more purely cut away sound, so less. It is exactly great size for me, I’m 6 ft. And quality looks fine. The included PickGuard is good quality too. I wished if it comes with few picks though(no pun intended).
Well, out of the box tuning was just not right, but once I tuned, it actually holds on to it despite using it for hours and hours. The bridge is rosewood as claimed but the lock system to the bridge is bit different to all guitars, so I wouldn’t know if its easy to change strings. One minor complaint- I can’t find screws on the plastic tuning keys. A chrome key with screws would have been fantastic.
To summarize: I’m offered a free pair of strings on a review which I would like to claim. This is my honest review and I think this is a great sounding, greatly built music machine. One thing for sure, I couldn’t have bought such a nice guitar from a shop for this money. And Yousician is great, I’m already improved so much. Thanks Linda Guitars.

I’ve wanted to learn guitar for a few years but I suppose I never had enough confidence to pursue it, until a few weeks ago when I decided that I’m going to give it a go. I looked around all the guitar and second-hand shops in my city but I couldn’t find anything that caught my eye and also fitted my price-range (as a complete music novice, I was willing to compromise on the sound).
I wanted something that looked nice, and also fit comfortably in my budget; I felt that if I stick with my learning, I can invest in something pricier in the future. After much browsing on the net, this guitar looked like a good choice.
It arrived within a few days and I haven’t stopped playing it. It’s perfect for a beginner, and judging by the other reviews, it’s also a great instrument for those of higher skill levels. It looks beautiful in the pictures which is one of the things that attracted me to it, but it’s a lot nicer than even that in real life.
I must also point out that my brief interaction with one of Lindo’s customer services adviser was reassuring; I didn’t have a problem, but I did contact them with a query. He seemed more than happy to help and to advise me correctly, and I feel that if I should ever experience any issues, Lindo customers are in good hands.

Bought this as an upgrade to a cheap shop bought one I’ve had for a few years on the strength of the reviews and sale price and accompanying video. I play guitar purely as a hobby for my own pleasure, but felt it was time to treat myself to one with a decent action.
The product arrived a day later than the predicted delivery date range, but I put this down to the snowy weather and Royal Mail rather than Lindo, as tracking shows it was dispatched in good time.
The guitar itself was pretty much ready to go after a bit of string stretching and sounds great. I love the look and feel and enjoy playing it on a daily basis.

The guitar arrived on time, and it’s honestly great relative to the price that you pay. I have no complaints whatsoever. The sound is good, and I only had an issue with the action which was a bit high. I contacted customer service, and was immediately met with a detailed response from James Maggs, a customer service manager. He was prompt and extremely helpful in helping me adjust my truss rod (allen key provided), and I really couldn’t ask for much more. I was initially hesitant to adjust the truss rod myself, since I’m basically a beginner, but it was an absolute cinch with James’ instructions.

Having received the guitar in good time and having had a few days to check it out and learn my first few chords, I’m really pleased to have discovered it here on Amazon. I love the look of it and it seems really well made, though being a beginner, I’m not 100% sure I could tell the difference. Nevertheless, I have no complaints about the quality of the guitar.
I’ve docked one star because I would have liked to have seen a small instruction booklet included. The scratch plate isn’t attached by default, and I had to come back here to view some pictures of the guitar to get it stuck on right. There’s also an allan key included, and I’ve had to check on YouTube what it’s for (it’s to adjust the truss rod). Being an absolute beginner, I have no idea whether I’m supposed to do this now, or save it for later. Again, if you’re aiming a guitar at the beginner’s market, a little help would be nice.
Lindo offers a free set of guitar strings in exchange for a review here on Amazon, which is a good idea for getting lots of helpful reviews. They in no way insinuate that the review should be positive, and I feel like I’ve given an honest assessment of my experience with the guitar.

I ordered this guitar on Monday 1st Jan 2018 and it was estimated to arrive on Friday 5th January, but actually arrived on Wednesday 3rd Jan.
Unpackaged guitar (which is also shipped with an acceptable free carry bag) and allowed to acclimatise for a few hours before tuning it up, (even though it was pretty well tuned out of the box). I was simply amazed at how well the guitar sounded and the notes ring out for ages, a far cry from my previous cheapo guitar (which had never instilled any confidence since I obtained it, curtailing my progress).
With this guitar from Lindo, I am certain to progress past the ‘frustrated beginner’ stage and have already strummed some chords along to an online lesson, so very VERY pleased with this instrument !!!
My wife also wants to learn to play and would like her own instrument, but this being a full sized guitar, she thinks she may require a smaller or slimmer model, but whatever size she decides upon Lindo guitars will be her first stop as we have been blown away by the quality & sound of this guitar.
I have also ordered a beginner acoustic guitar lessons DVD from Lindo, which comes highly rated and will review this item on a separate review.
There is a leaflet included offering free strings for a positive review which is an added bonus (and which some reviewers think a cheeky bribe), but I can assure you I only give positive reviews if I am genuinely pleased or impressed with a product and would not be swayed by any such ‘bribe’, so believe me when I say I (and my wife) are seriously impressed with this guitar, especially for the price paid, it really is a no-brainer !!

I got this as a birthday gift and iv’e got to say it’s a great guitar. I’ve never played with steel strings on an acoustic so i’m a bit rusty. I like how loud it is as well, not loud enough to wake the neighbours (i think) but just right. I’ve only given it 4 stars though because there is only 1 strap holder. I find it a bit useless to be honest because you need 2 of them in the first place, and you only really find them in pairs online so you might as well get rid of it. other than that it’s a great guitar for the price and i would definitely recommend Lindo guitars to my friends and family. i will also buy from them in the future

If I could give this 10 stars I would. A beautiful rich sound with great depth to it. Sounds a much more expensive guitar than it’s price tag. I’m no expert and bought it as I’m trying to learn scales further up the fretboard – so the cutaway is ideal! Good sound for strumming and probably soloing too, if I was a bit better at it:-) Good projection and volume. I like what I’ve read about Lindo as a company too – a British guitar manufacturer, with great customer service. Despatched early the next morning after placing my order the previous day and delivered the following day. Can’t ask for better than that! At first I was dubious about buying a guitar online without trying it first, especially since it was for my 10 year old who was moving up from a nylon string 3/4 size guitar.
After reading the reviews, I decided to take a risk and I have to say, we both love it. The guitar came well packaged, on time and in great condition. The sound it makes is great for the price and is a step-up from the guitar it replaced. The finish is very nice and no imperfections. After tuning, it has not gone out of tune much which is to be expected. I expect it to settle down over time.
The bag which comes with it fits nicely and is of decent quality.
Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone as a first or second guitar.

I just moved to a new country and was really missing my guitar at home. After doing some research and seeing the reviews (not only on Amazon, but on music sites as well), I decided to take a chance with this guitar even though it’s always recommended to try out an instrument before buying it. I was so happy that it arrived only two days after I ordered it! It has a warm, bright tone, and the fact that it’s a little smaller with a cutaway is great for me. I’m still getting used to the new size (since I used a full body dreadnought before this one) but it only took a few days for the strings to stretch and start staying in tune. I like it so far. Full disclosure – Lindo are offering a free set of strings to leave a review. I don’t usually leave reviews but am quite comfortable to do so here as I am genuinely impressed with this guitar. I took a break from guitar playing for approx 5 years & recently have been getting the urge to play again. Was expecting the first few weeks to be a chore but was very pleasantly surprised to find that the action is nice and low (without causing any string buzz). Rather than sore fingers, I’m finding I can comfortably play songs that I would have found more challenging on my previous guitar (Westfield semi acoustic).
The guitar sounds lovely, it has a nice rich tone that sounds really nice open or palm-muted, you’ll get a nice sound whether or not you’re going hard or lightly too. Someone also noted that the pictures don’t do the guitar justice, the colour & finish is really nice and the headstock / neck look really nice too.
TL;DR The price was right, the guitar is gorgeous & it arrived a day before the predicted delivery window. Very satisfied.

It arrived next day by Parcel Force, good packaging. Very good tones from low to high, excellent action, very playable guitar. The neck cutaway enabling high access is a nice bonus. Intonation is good along the length of the neck, varying only by a few cents. The tuning pegs don’t slip. Nice deep colour attractive rosette and came with bag. Price out of this world.

This is a great guitar for beginners looking to get into learning guitar. The sound is good, and it has a very nice design. There were a few scratches and marks when I received it, but nothing too major. Although I have little experience in buying guitars, this is well worth the money for anyone not wanting to spend several hundred pounds on a top of the line guitar.

My review has to be tempered with my limited playing experience. I’ve owned better guitars which cost a similar price. This one had poor finishing in places. The description says mahogany top, my googling and the feel of the guitars suggests that it may be a thin mahogany on another wood. I can’t be sure. Playability was only ok, it felt like a cheap guitar. Tuners were not great, there seems to be slippage and hesitancy. Maybe I was just unlucky with the one I received.

I can’t recommend this highly enough – it has as lovely, warm resonant tone and its true that, as others have mentioned, the action is good. It also looks good. I have long wanted an acoustic guitar with a narrower neck (more like the width of an electric guitar) and this has it – so (being usually a mandolin player) I find this more comfortable. This may also be of benefit to a beginner I suppose. The service was also excellent – they phoned me to tell me it was dispatched and made a big point of telling me to get in touch if I had ANY problems – I certainly haven’t got any problems and the only reason I would get in touch would be to congratulate them on a wonderful guitar. The price makes it even more appealing of course but it has the quality of a more expensive guitar – don’t hesitate! buy it!

The best part was guitar was tuned before it was sent.Though I am beginner but I can say that it sounds very good. I do hope that I will be able to learn better. The only thing I wished was that the bag supplied along with that could have been of bit better quality, but that is not so important , as the guitar is great.

At first I was a little weary of ordering it online because it may get damaged. But when I received it, it was wrapped up with a lot of packaging and was delivered with care.
When I first used it, it was a little out of tune but that was easy to deal with and that’s another reason why this is a perfect guitar for beginners. Its easy to tune and sounds lovely.
To round up, this is the perfect guitar for anyone. I would strongly recommend this guitar to a beginner or to someone who just wants a spare guitar. This guitar is cheap but still sounds very nice.

I’m a novice guitar player, so I don’t know what a very good guitar should sound like. However I’ve looked at all the reviews and compared to the amount of reviews, Lindo always seem to have a relatively low number of 1 or 2 star ratings. I understand now, like previous reviewer that is because you get a set of free strings if you place a favorable review on Amazon. So I still don’t know how this fairly reviews to other guitars. Like several other reviewers have said, I’ve shaved off some of the bridge, so the action is much much better after having done that. The action was really too high, meaning even more sore fingers than what you’d normally expect for playing the guitar. But I like the sound and it seems to hold its tune well. I’ve tuned my guitar every day since I received it, and I only need to adjust minimally, and each day it seems to be less, although after having shaved off a bit, I’m sure it will be a bit more the coming days. Compared to other guitars it seems to be a very good quality/price balance. It’s not too expensive if you decide that guitar playing isn’t for you after all and it’s good enough sounding that it will last you for a very long time if you intend to remain an amateur.

I was very sceptical of buying a guitar online without trying it first, I am very much a believer that a guitar does not have to be overpriced to be good, it just has to feel right. I chose this guitar because of its good looking flow and design with a cool natural colour, with the cut-out to reach the higher frets the main focus.
Needless to say, I am very impressed. This guitar fits in nicely to play a range of styles, from bendy blues to the fast paced ‘rodrigo y gabriella’ style guitar playing, which are both my main interests. I also play percussion guitar and the body of the guitar has a good shape and feel to get those thumps, taps and bangs. It gives really good vibrations for those warm and clear percussive sounds. Here is a small summary of the design:
– The body is not too thick so it sits comfortably.
– The cutout looks sweet and allows you to access those high notes very easily.
– The action is okay, it could be slightly lower but as steel acoustics go it is okay and you get used to it almost immediately.
– The tuning knuts needed tightening after the first week (I think they used a screwdriver slot), but that was probably due to me needing to retune the new strings a lot.
– You get what you pay for with the free gig bag – it zips up and carries the guitar, quite thin material and nothing fancy, but does its’ job.
Lindo shipped the guitar to the netherlands for me for a hefty 20 pounds, although considering it is a large fragile package and it arrived in under 4 days needless to say it was worth the money. The guitar was sent in the standard guitar box then packaged within a larger rectangular box for extra safety, and arrived in good condition and amazingly even sort-of in tune.
However, BEWARE. Within the box there is also a bribary message – it says if you leave a good review on amazon, you get a free set of strings. Now as I bought this guitar because of the good reviews i was very very angry, but fortunately the guitar matches what the good reviews say and so I will let Lindo off on this one. My sister also had a lindo acoustic for a few years which I also played a lot, that guitar was also great quality and so I guess Lindo are just confident with their skills!

I will say that due to the product description I was expecting a smaller guitar but it is only slightly smaller than a full size guitar.

Just bought the Apprentice series acoustic guitar for Christmas and am delighted with the purchase. My first impressions are that it’s light but solid, well put together and a great looking piece of kit. I am a beginner and am not skilled enough to comment on it’s sound etc but it is a nice sized guitar for me (I’m 5’10”) and I’d imagine would suit anyone over 10 years old so long as you don’t have huge fingers.
Overall I’d have to say that first impressions are favourable and I cannot wait until I can actually play it well enough to give an informed opinion on how it handles.

I have been learning to play guitar for a year but hit a bit of a plateau so bought this to sit in my office for an extra bit of practice. Having read the other reviews I decided that this guitar would fit the bill. The main issue I had was that the action (the space between the strings and the frets) was too big. Within 2 hours of having the guitar I shaved 2mm off of the bridge to reduce the gap, but its still too deep, so I am taking another 1.5 mm off today. The other problem is that the fretboard has a slight bend in it, so if you press the strings down at both ends, they dont touch the frets all the way along. Other reviewers said the guitar had a great tone, but I would have to say it has an odd tone – hard to describe, but not what i would expect from an acoustic guitar. For extra practice its very useful, but I wouldn’t use it on a regualr basis. I am only a beginner and don’t know much about guitars, but my Yamaha F310 is a lot easier to play and has a better sound.

Took 2 days to get here, may have been even shorter as one day was a Sunday. Arrived in sturdy packaging, no visible signs of damage or mishandling, and the guitar was packed perfectly.
Unpacked it and the guitar was snugly fit and had no signs of damage, which I was worried would happen with delivery, but is obviously of no concern as the guitar was in perfect condition!
After a quick 10 minutes tuning session and 2 hour jam, I am very very pleased with this guitar, the tone is amazing and it’s so easy to just pick up and play, great for beginners and advanced players alike!
The build quality is great too, noticed a few areas for improvement but thats just me being picky and for £65 it is an absolute BARGAIN, seriously won’t find a better build quality on many other accoustics for this price.
Overall, very very pleased with my purchase, highly recommended! 5* stars! 🙂

First of all , i LOVE it 🙂 I purchased the Lindo Guitar on a Monday night and received on Wednesday ( Less than 48 hours from ordering ). It came very well packaged and had NO damages and not even a dent in the box. I am very happy with the way it was packaged. It didn’t take me very long to tune it once i got it out of the box. It has even helped me to improve my singing voice because now i can tell if i am in tune or not with my voice. The reason why i purchased this guitar was because i was interested in a cutaway guitar as my old guitar is not a cutaway one and i wanted to have easy access to the higher frets. It was easily affordable for me as i have been looking at cutaway guitars and they were all in the £150 – £200 plus range and that was too expensive for me. So i would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a good value but cheap enough to afford guitar. I can very easily give this product a 5 star rating all round. 5 star on dispatch time, 5 star on delivery time , 5 star on packaging , and finally 5 star on the sound quality of the guitar 🙂 It even comes with it’s own case 🙂 As i said , i would give this product a 5 star rating all round and i would highly recommend this guitar to everyone. I was looking to pick up the guitar a while back but was worried about costs – there are plenty of cheap guitars out there, but without being an expert I was hesitant about taking the leap. However, this one faired very well in all the reviews, and for good reason: I would be amazed if you could find better at this price. The finish is good, the sound is absolutely beautiful and in general the guitar makes playing very accessible and rewarding at the same time. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Bought this acoustic Lindo guitar because as a beginner I am finding the fret board on my classic guitar a little too big to handle the more difficult chords. I didn’t have a lot of money to splash out so I was looking for a good bargain and I got one! Brilliant size for my petite self because while it is a full size it is only 39 inch which is that bit smaller than the 40 or 42 inch full size guitars I’ve seen.
It came promptly, very well packaged and in perfect condition. I was surprised at the quality and finish because of the low price I had paid. I would say the mahogany top is a little lighter in colour than it appears in the picture on here but I am still in love with the look. Took a few days for the steel strings to settle so the guitar stayed in tune but now they have it sounds clear and resonates well which is great! I find this guitar much easier to play than my classic and although I was concerned about switching from nylon to steel strings, because I heard they are harder to press down to hit the note, I’ve had no problem with these.
Over all a fantastic buy and I would certainly recommend this guitar to beginners or anyone looking for a good guitar for a great price!

I bought this guitar with the intention of having it as a spare, little to find it replacing my main guitar that I had actually spent notably more money on. This guitar does what is important right – it looks the part, it sounds the part, and it has excellent buiild quality. Commonplace with cheaper guitars are dodgy tuning heads, meaning that changing the tuning, or even just keeping the guitar in tune, is a pain. On this guitar, however, that it not a problem at all – the machine heads rotate smoothly and easily. Another great feature is this guitar being slightly smaller than usual means that if you are of a smaller build or are in your early teens you have a guitar that is comfortable to use whilst still providing an excellent sound. The action is also great, really comfortable to play, much more so than my previous guitar. If you are in the market for a cheaper guitar, you couldn’t do better than this. Ticks all the boxes – if you’re on the edge, I say go for it, you won’t be dissapointed.
