Sadly, for this production the manufacture has slightly changed their procedure, resulting in the paint finish around the sound-hole
area being a little different to our original design. It’s hardly noticeable but please see the photos for more detail.
Apart from that, this guitar is brand new and comes with a 10mm padded gigbag. It will be fully set-up before being dispatched.
The Lindo 960CEQ Handed Classical Guitar – Designed in Bristol, U.K, by Lindo Guitars

With this kind of versatility available, the Lindo 960CEQ will appeal to traditional classical and flamenco players as well as modern, percussive and virtuoso styles.
Features and Benefits
Having an on-board EQ with bass, middle, treble and presence, the TOPS-4T preamplifier takes this guitar to new levels for playing live or recording at home. With the dual jack and XLR outputs, you are able to connect to a guitar amplifier, PA or recording interface and the integrated chromatic tuner function provides quick and easy tuning via a backlit LCD.

I just have to say something about the Lindo 960 CEQ guitar I bought this summer.
First of all, what a great value for money, I was looking for a start up acoustic-electronic to line straight in at the same time as having an overhead microphone for some of my demos. Turns out my demos have now become an album. After my guitar mechanic (lol) had a look at the action and helped out with it. It really is a great little lovely guitar which I will use when playing my instrumentals live.
Secondly, the delivery and the packing of the instrument was perfect. It was shipped all the way to a tiny mountain village outside Malaga Spain. I in fact made one of them “live” packing up videos and everything was there plus more. Inside apart from the guitar was a string winder and even a gig bag.
Last but not least, the Lindo 960 CEQ guitar is now featured on my next cd project with release date March 2020 for all the spanish classical/flamenco influenced parts.
Thanks again for such a very positive online purchase experience.

Having recently taken up guitar lessons again I was struggling with my old narrow necked acoustic guitar and was advised to look at a wide necked classical guitar and this Lindo electro acoustic guitar was just what I wanted, a great guitar for the money and I love the Picasso blue colour as I wanted something a bit different. It arrived a day earlier than I was expecting in great condition and after tuning it I plugged it in to my amp and was delighted with the sound. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone who is looking for a great value, wide necked, electro acoustic guitar.

This guitar although classical in design is very bold in its colour concept and overall looks… it plays very well and is strikingly different to anything else out there especially for the price !.. I use this guitar as a ‘back up’ for my Takamine classical… it certain does not disappoint !.. Worth giving it a look…you cant beat it for value / price..

Loved the other reviews, couldn’t believe the price. Detailed info on Lindo website too. Just had to get it at this price and free delivery. Good customer services too.
Thanks again

I like Lindo guitars – I own quite a lot of other makes, some high end ones too, and I have never been disappointed by one of the Lindo’s so far. Their design philosophy seems to work well and they care about their instruments.
But what I didn’t have in my guitar colletion were many nylon strung guitars – my others are all steel strung except for one nylon acoustic, so I thought adding another would be good. Especially since the Picasso was an electro acoustic and that opened up some possibilities for recording. The Picasso arrived very quickly, well packed, and was in lovely condition – as with other Lindos this Picasso is very well made, solid and looks made to last. Nylon strings need to be bedded in and regularly retensioned in the first weeks, though they do settle down after a while. The strings that the Picasso comes with are not the best – a more resonant set to replace them would be a wise investment. I have gone for some D’Addarios and suddenly the Picasso starts to ‘sing’! Especially in the higher registers on the topmost strings. It has a very pleasing musical intonation. The looks are unusual, but I really like the design. You would have to spend perhaps twice this to get a classical guitar that was as good, I feel – and that is before the electro-acoustic is taken into account. It boasts both a jack plug and balanced XLR output. Very easy to play, action is very good – if you want a good nylon strung acoustic to keep for a long while, this is definitely one to consider. Very highly recommended.

I like the look and sound and its easy to play

Very good guitar sound is great, preamp with tuner is a big plus. Only thing that is lacking rae the stap peg, which I have to put in myself. Would be nice if it comes as standard. Otherwise no complain and will buy another lindo guitar in the future.

For the price, I think this is a fantastic guitar. Really great quality for the price. Highly recommended.

I have had a Lindo guitar before, a couple of years ago when i lived somewhere else. Unfortunately, due to circumstances at the time, i had to let it go. I decided now that i am on a firm and stable footing again, to pick up playing the guitar again. I decided on this one after a lot of research and it arrived today, well ahead of time and very well packaged.
Upon taking it out of the box, i was immediately impressed with its looks and feel. I must of spent about 20 minutes alone just looking at the guitar, trying to find any blemishes or marks but as i expected, there was non. It is in absolute perfect condition.
Playing the guitar a little, i didn’t expect it to be in tune, but to my surprise, it was in tune! I just know now that i am going to be getting a lot of joyful time playing this amazing guitar. It is absolutely stunning to look at and sounds amazing when played. Lindo really do pay attention to detail, and for the price, well i don’t think you are going to come remotely close to finding something else at a similar price that will have the same quality as this! Or even sound as beautiful as this!
I will be building up a collection of guitars as i progress, and i definitely will be returning to Lindo to buy more.
I highly recommend a Lindo guitar for anyone, especially this one.

You must start with the premise that this is a cheap guitar and being ultra criitical the finish looks cheap close up but I feel this is more than compensated for by the lovely tone especially in the lower range.I should point out that I am not a talented musician far from it.
I have had reason to phone Lindo Guitars and to be able to speak to Mark regarding the impossibility of keeping the bass E string in tune he informed me that it would take two or more weeks to stay in tune, well it still doesn’t but is a little better any way who needs six strings!
Mark, who is a very helpful guy, whom I will have to phone next week regarding the purchase and use of a small amplifier and the complexities of restringing I think you need knitting needles the strangest anchoring system I have ever seen ( But this is my first Classical guitar)
I really recommend this guitar I think it is great value for money and I don’t think you will regret it

Bought it on 17 Apr 2013. Good side and nice sound 🙂

Overall I think this is a great guitar for the money. Although it has a standard wide classical neck, it’s easier to play than many others I’ve tried in this price bracket. Nice, smooth, low frets and good sound unplugged. The pick-up is fairly decent and records well with a fair distribution of sound across the strings – so I would imagine will sound good amplified. I think the look won’t be to everyone’s taste but I like it – it’s a bit unusual without being over the top. Nice detail to have the fret-board inlays to one side – and it does actually make them easier to see. Yes – this is a pretty decent solidly built guitar for the money. And it’s something a bit different too.

Bought recently. Very impressed with the guitar in the stock condition it came in, but wanted to tweak it a bit, with new strings, lower action, and bone rather than plastic nut. Took it to my usual luthier, who is one of the top guys in the area, and he was very impressed. His words…”how can they manage to make something that good for that kind of money”?. Course, he could improve it further, and has done, at a cost, but you could happily live with it as it is. A great guitar, and a great re-introduction for me to the world of nylon string. Get one!

This is a beautiful guitar. The Picasso blue finish makes the guitar look great. The sound is good and the playability is excellent. I’m using it to help encourage my granddaugher to learn to play. She’s 7 and was very excited that she could pick out Old McDonald!
The product was packaged exceptionally well and arrived in pristine condition. Lindo seem very positive about customer care and I highly recommend them based upon my purchase.
I haven’t tried the electric side of the guitar, but the controls have a quality feel about them.
If you want a guitar that’s easy to play, sounds great and looks fab, look no further than the Lindo Picasso.
Thanks to my wife for the best birthday present ever!

Much better quality than I expected, a little work on the action and this will be a real bargain!

This guitar is gorgeous looking and feels lovely, I’ve played electric for over 15 years an have always wanted a classical acoustic, I had three in mind but the price plus a different look from the usual classic style won me over. I wasn’t expecting brilliance for the price, but was swept away really. The in built tuner is brilliant, also came with a battery ( however to avoid being a berk like me, the battery is in packaging inside the saddle), also take the battery out when not using as I ran mine down from the tuner being on inside the bag. The bag isn’t brilliant but snazzy and better than nothing, was a nice surprise. needs some tlc with the action, and as like all new guitars online, the strings are old but apparently I get free strings from Lindo for this review which would be awesome. Overall this guitar is brilliant for all levels of playing, and for just shy of 200 quid… A very slick addition to my ever growing collection of guitars. I will consider more from Lindo in the future.

I have just discovered that marvellous guitar: a beauty, it seems great! I just would like a nice video presentation of it ( like for the Lindo Neptune that sounds so great!)
Well done!

Bought it for my daughter who is taking guitar lessons. So happy with it that her guitar teacher went out and bough the same one for himself.

I like this product in many ways. Firstly, I liked the fact that the guitar gave a beautiful sound when strummed and plucked. Secondly, my son thoroughly enjoyed playing in this guitar.

Bought this guitar having seen the great reviews it had revived on Amazon and elsewhere. I believe it originally cost nearly twice as much, which perhaps explains why it is such a good buy for the money. It is well made, and looks very attractive. It sounds good without an amplifier (if a little but quiet – but that’s not a problem) and great with and amplifier, especially if you take the time to adjust the 4 band eq to get the best possible tone, and add some reverb, which makes it sound great. There’s no feedback from the guitar if you leave it near the amp, and the pick up is quiet when the guitar is not being played, so good for live use. The action is low – which means the strings are close to the fret board – if you are considering it for a beginner then this is a very good feature because many learner guitarists are put off when the strings are too hard to press.

Birthday gift for my wife…. Looks amazing, sounds amazing. Highly recommended

I have a lot of guitars – electric & acoustic – but the 1 type I didn’t have was a classical guitar. Then I came across Lindo Guitars on the Amazon website – and watched the demo video of the electro acoustic classical LDG-960CEQ – I was impressed and not long after, was pleasantly surprised to receive one for Christmas. I have played this type of guitar many years ago – so the wider neck and higher action were a little strange a first – but the guitar was perfectly playable straight out of the box, the fingerboard and edges of the fingerboard were finished off to a high standard, something that I have found lacking on more expensive guitars and the intonation was accurate most notably in the 12th fret when comparing the fretted 12th and corresponding harmonic.
Because of years spent playing lower action electric guitars I decided to contact Lindo and ask if it was possible to lower the action (height of strings from fingerboard) by shaving a little off the saddle ( the plastic piece that sits in the wooden bridge channel ) They replied in detail – giving standard measurements as a reference point – all of which I found very helpful. I checked also with a classical guitarist who pointed out that this kind of guitar usually has a higher action but is easier to fret as the strings are nylon. In my opinion this is a very nice guitar for the price (which has dropped again since my purchase) – especially when you take into consideration the versatility the ‘electro’ option gives you.

The sound of this guitar is bliss, nice step up from classical, yet retaining the authenticity of the sound. Fingerstyle banging with this baby is something!! Framework is of very good quality, with a couple of minor scratches, mainly in the lacquering around the rosette. That being said, the price is also very reasonable.

On the strength of the great quality, beautiful build / finish, nice sound and amazing value for money of the electro-acoustic bass guitar that I recently bought from Lindo, I ordered this electro-acoustic classical guitar. Lindo have again delivered a beautiful instrument, safely and very quickly (to France). They are a great company, definitely one to be watched out for in the future as they continue to further establish their business and develop their range of instruments.

Great sound, acoustically and with the help of the amplifier. Very good for beginners. Technical design, very good. Good quality and low price.

I have had this guitar for a few months . The tone is excillent and i have not changed the strings yet. the build quality and design is very good . as far as classical guitars go, i can’t see what you could progress to. The guitar is very easy to play, the tone through the pickup is very good.
I bought this guitar mainly as an acoustic, and i must say, FOR ME , it is perfect. I was very lucky to get this guitar.
Sam Gorman
I was looking for a classical so that I could start ABRSM grades. This guitar is perfect for that, easy to play and looks (and sounds) really nice. Excellent value for money and a brilliant starter guitar which also sounds decent when plugged into an amp.
Justin Wark
I have had this guitar nearly two months now. It really is very well made, and has excellent tone. I bought it as I wanted a not too expensive classical guitar to complement my Ovation, which cost about 3 times the price. However, I find myself playing this much more often than the Ovation. It is superb value for money, and has the feel of a guitar several times the price.
Christopher Knowles
Bought this as a courtesy guitar for visitors (I’m a lefty) and I’m pleased with the value for money. Doesn’t sound half bad and the electronics and pickup are fine. I just wish I’d read the ad more carefully as I’d intended to buy a steel-strung guitar. My fault.
Roy
Great Guitar for the price. Its a joy to play with a beautiful tone acoustically and plugged in

Great guitar for the price!

I own guitars worth £1000.00. I can honestly say that this is a fine guitar sound wise. I may not have the feel of the really expensive guitars, but sound wise I am really pleased. I was going to get a Multiac (won’t bother no as this suits my electro classical needs)
Mrs J. Curtis
Arrived in two days and well packed. Comes with a carry case and lead. It’s a really nice looking guitar and very well built. It’s hard to believe it for the price! Once tuned up and plugged in it sounds lovely, very bright and lively. Although the neck is wide(well, wider than my other classical guitar) it has a low action and is very easy to fret. I am so pleased I bought this guitar and did not fork out a lot more money for some other more well known brand. This guitar is not going to be an ornament, I am going to gig it and it seems up to the job. It looks nice,it sounds nice and it stays in tune and at the end of the day that’s all you need. Who cares what it says on the head stock.
Aziz
Very impressed with the rich quality of sound. I will definitely purchase another Lindo guitar for my kids.
Thank you,

Very happy with the guitar…nicely made and no flaws. Looking forward to picking up playing after many years missed. Delivered ahead of schedule.

Despite the worringly cheap price, the guitar arrived and I can’t really fault it!
Nice pick-up, great design, all I might need to do is buy some better strings and then I will have saved myself at least a few hundred quid in sound quality!
Katrin
It’s my first classical guitar (have an accoustic and electric as well). It arrived quicklier than promised and with a guitar bag as a bonus.
The quality seems to be nice and fine, it feels solid yet comfortable holding it. I dont know much of the quality of nyloin strings, after playing about 5 hours (in 3 days) the wiring on base strings seems to crack a little on the fret, is it normal on not? But the overall sound and keeping in tune is OK (after 2 days). Again, it’s my first experience with classical guitar and nylon strings, so I don’t have much to compare with. I guess it is a nice price-quality relationship for a first classical guitar.
JF
I wanted a classical type sound to add to my steel strung guitars – as it is a new departure for me I didn’t want to go all out with money. This is a very fine piece of gear especially at the price. The sound is crisp and clear plugged and unplugged and has a very nice soft tone. The action is smooth all the way along the neck and it is well balanced. I’d have no hesitation looking at other models of guitar by this company based upon what I have found in with this model. A decent guitar for beginner and more experienced players on a budget
Chip Jenkins
Wow! What a wonderful surprise, I didn’t expect this guitar to sound so well rounded and balanced at this price. I bought this for my singing students who often need to borrow a guitar, and having played it, I am very impressed as it sounds like a much more expensive guitar. I tested it through Genelec speakers, I have not yet put it through the amp, but the acoustic sound in the room indicates that this will sound great once amplified. The controls for Bass, Mid, Treble and Presence are effective. The other thing I noticed was the weight, which also makes it feel like a much more expensive instrument. Lastly, the inlay has a really intricate and appealing design – a cosmetic detail, but still appreciated.
