The Lindo Eco Voyager SE is the world’s first electro-acoustic travel guitar to use environmentally-friendly bamboo. Utilising moso bamboo – an incredibly strong and resonant material, it is exceptionally ‘green’. Bamboo replenishes up to 10 times quicker than hardwood trees. It also provides 30% more oxygen and absorbs more carbon dioxide compared to other plants. Because of these features, bamboo greatly decreases the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. It also has antibacterial properties and cleans the air.
Through a combination of design features and modern lifestyle influences, the Voyager is a fun instrument that bridges the gap between a ukulele and a full-scale electro-acoustic guitar.
With a hand-selected solid bamboo body, the Lindo Eco Voyager SE delivers a great sound for such a compact body instrument. The unique double-cutaway body offers players full access to the whole fretboard. It’s also lightweight and exceptionally comfortable to play. The overall acoustic tone is bright, balanced and projects surprisingly well.
The shorter 24” scale is a lot lighter on the fingers and provides the right amount of tension for a smaller bodied guitar.
As well as enhancing tone, the string-through bridge style makes string changes quick and easy. The BS3M preamp with piezo/mic blend system gives you the option to blend the sound from the under-saddle piezoelectric pickup with the sound from the microphone in the guitar body. This is perfect for a smaller-body guitar as the mic enhances all the low-end warmth. Equally, you can retain the clarity of notes from the piezoelectric pickup.
The preamp also has a 3-band EQ which means you have control of the bass, middle and treble. The tuner is chromatic and is displayed on a backlit LCD. You can check the guitar’s tuning wherever you are and in any lighting conditions. The BS3M allows you to adjust the master output volume and shape your sound with the low profile dials.
The added notch filter control allows you to cut frequencies within a range of up to 300Hz. Ideal for reducing noise or string frequencies which are better left out of the mix.
The ‘phase’ button is exceptionally handy, as it can help to reduce feedback by synchronising the guitar and amplifier’s sound wave. Often, the natural sound wave produced by the acoustic guitar can be ‘out of phase’ with that of the amplifier. You will hear the difference because an ‘out of phase’ tone will sound tinny and unbalanced. Where as an ‘in phase’ tone will be fuller and warmer.
There is also the feature of the dual output using either a jack lead or balanced XLR. This provides options for plugging into an amplifier, mixing desk or an audio interface.
Take the Voyager on camping trips, aeroplanes, buses, trains, in cars or just a friend’s house; it’s the perfect tool for busking too.

This guitar is a little quirky, a little kooky perhaps and it’s a lot of fun. it has a unique sound somewhere in that rare intersection between guitar/banjo/lute/ukulele! chords sound kinda folky, even mystical. combine that with how it looks and it’s easy to imagine yourself depicted in a richard daad painting, quietly strumming as you sit on a toadstool! it just has that slightly other-worldly aspect to it. it feels nicely put together — smooth-edged frets and everything neatly and tidily finished. tuning is steady and the intonation is nicely accurate on all the strings up the neck, so from a functional point of view, it’s spot on. the on-board tuner is accurate. plugged in, it’s possible to create a more typical acoustic guitar sound. there are useful eq controls, a phase switch to manage feedback and it’s possible to blend between the internal mic and pickup. all good. but really, it’s all about the character of this guitar — definitely distinctive. and the gig bag is perfectly serviceable for easy transportation. if you’re up for something different and you’re a little bit quirky, then this is your guitar. and it’s also nice to support a company doing their own thing

This is a fantastic guitar, great for travelling with, but in my opinion more than just a travel guitar because when it is plugged in to an acoustic amp it really comes alive, I love the dual pickup system, the sound and tone is as good as any electro acoustic guitar I have ever owned, and I have had Martins and Taylors in the past. This is a beautiful guitar to look at and play with great tone when plugged in, highly recommended, also as an extra plus, the folks at Lindo are very helpful

This guitar is simply beautiful. The intonation, looks and feel make it a real pleasure to play. Would highly recommend
