This Kawa bass guitar was purchased via Reverb, which in turn put me in touch with the Lindo Guitars people. (An extra perk buying straight from the manufacturer) The shipping was as fast as could be expected, coming from the UK to Hawaii, but it arrived without a scratch, sort of thanks to the shipping people along the way handling it carefully. But special thanks to the Lindo Guitars folks, who packed it especially carefully, knowing its destination. I love this guitar! Everything about it speaks to me. From the short scale (bass), to the shape, the finish (!), the action and tonality. The short scale length made it especially welcoming (I’m 5’2″), and it’s such a joy to play. I could jump on it straight away, being a “guitar player” without being freaked out by the length. Many many thanks to Flynn, and also to all the staff at Lindo Guitars for making this transaction pain-free (they even sent me a pack of goodies to offset the tariffs!). Much aloha to everyone at Lindo Guitars, I can’t help but give them a 5 star, +++++ rating! Now back to learning the bass parts to Ramble On (John Paul Jones/Led Zeppelin). 😀
