DESCRIPTION

ORG-SL / Original Slim / Space Grey

Full-size.
A little closer.

There is a moment before the first chord when a guitar finds its place against you. The ORG-SL begins there: a familiar full-size outline, a 25.5-inch scale, and a body that is just 60–72 mm deep.

Space Grey gives that slender silhouette its own atmosphere. A glossy grey burst meets pale edges and chrome details — quietly distinctive, whether the guitar is waiting beside a chair or coming with you to rehearsal.

The ORG-SL Space Grey: a full-size guitar with a slimline profile.

01 / The original slim idea

The outline you know.
A different profile.

A smaller body depth does not turn the ORG-SL into a travel-size guitar. Its 41-inch full-size format and 25.5-inch scale remain part of the design. The change is in how much body sits between the strings and the player: less depth, with the pointed Florentine cutaway opening the upper end of the neck.

02 / A quieter kind of statement

Grey, with room
for the details.

Look first at the body, then follow the lines upwards. The grey burst is framed by pale binding; mother-of-pearl inlays carry the eye along the composite-wood fretboard; the headstock brings the shape back to the ORG-SL identity.

Nothing needs to compete for attention. The gloss finish, white bridge pins and chrome machine heads belong to the same restrained palette, allowing the instrument's form to remain the main event.

Designed in Bristol, UK.

The name is a small explanation of the idea: Original Slim. A recognisable acoustic-guitar outline, reconsidered around a shallower body rather than a shorter scale.

Original comparison photograph: the ORG-SL body is labelled 60–72 mm; the neighbouring reference body is labelled 100 mm.

03 / See the difference from the side

Slim is a dimension.
Not just a description.

The side view tells the story more clearly than a front photograph can. Here, the ORG-SL's 60–72 mm body depth is shown beside the 100 mm reference body in the original comparison image.

The ORG-SL keeps its full-length neck and full-size body outline, while bringing the front and back closer together. At approximately 2.2 kg, it has a clearly defined set of proportions to consider for seated practice, standing rehearsal and the places you like to play.

Full-size, not short-scale.

The scale remains 25.5 inches. If you are moving from a conventional full-size guitar, the feature to notice here is the slimmer body profile — not a reduced scale length.

04 / The parts beneath the finish

A closer look,
from bridge to headstock.

The construction pairs a veneered spruce top with basswood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and composite wood for the fretboard and bridge. Each material is listed plainly in the specifications below, so the appearance and the construction can be considered together.

At the bridge, a compensated bone saddle sits beside six white ABS pins with black dots. At the other end of the strings, the 43 mm nut is also bone. Small details, but worth seeing at a scale that lets you inspect them.

05 / The familiar rituals

Tune up.
Find your place.

A few turns of the machine heads, a glance along the neck, a first chord: the ordinary rituals matter as much as the first impression. The ORG-SL uses chrome-finished alloy machine heads with a 19:1 ratio, together with a two-way truss rod for neck adjustment.

Its fretboard carries 20 nickel frets with 2.4 mm fretwire. Turn the guitar over and the small finishing details come into view: the arrangement of the machine heads, the pale neck heel and the meeting of the body and binding.

For any truss-rod adjustment, take care and seek a qualified guitar technician's advice if you are unsure. An Allen key is included; there is no need to make a change simply because the tool is there.

06 / Choose the strings before you begin

The same silhouette.
Your choice of strings.

Perhaps your evening begins with a familiar steel-string pattern. Perhaps it starts more slowly, with nylon under the fingers. This listing offers both Steel and Nylon selections; use the String Type menu in the purchase area to choose the version you want.

The steel option is specified with phosphor-bronze 11–52 strings. The nylon option is listed separately in the same menu. These are purchase options, not an invitation to swap string types on a guitar without checking its suitability.

Steel

Phosphor bronze / 11–52. Select Steel in the String Type menu.

Nylon

Choose the Nylon version from the same menu before adding it to your basket.

07 / When it is time to connect

From the guitar
to the next room.

The undersaddle piezoelectric pickup feeds the onboard F-4T preamp. Its four-band EQ and built-in chromatic tuner put the everyday controls on the guitar, with jack and XLR outputs available when you want to connect to suitable amplification or recording equipment.

Watch the guide before your first amplified session. It introduces the same F-4T system specified for this guitar, so the controls can become familiar before the music starts.

08 / Before your first chapter

The workshop
comes before the music.

Before dispatch, the ORG-SL goes through Lindo's UK setup and inspection process. The guitar is checked for cosmetic condition, preamp operation, neck relief, nut height, action and playability.

The fretwork and fretboard receive attention, the guitar is tuned and played, and a final check brings the process together. It is the quieter part of the story: work done before the instrument reaches its new player.

ORG-SL / Space Grey / The next chapter

A familiar shape.
A new place in your day.

When the photographs have been explored and the measurements considered, the idea is a simple one: a full-size guitar with a slimmer body, a choice of strings, and practical electronics for the occasions that call for them.

The grey finish begins the first impression. The songs, the quiet evenings and the next rehearsal are the part you bring.
