The Lindo AfterLife – A New Era in Guitar Making
Whilst the Lindo AfterLife brings a headless design to the Lindo catalogue for the very first time, there is much more to this guitar than meets the eye. An exclusive look at some of the new and innovative features of this headless beauty.

We’ve always been sticklers for striking designs, dyed turquoise maple fretboards, offset sound holes, striped composite wood necks… you name it, we’ve probably created it. And yes, the Lindo Afterlife is our first-ever headless guitar, which is incredibly exciting. But that’s not the only thing that makes it special. Hidden beneath the surface are features and upgrades that are just as, if not more, exciting than the headless construction itself.
Carbon Fibre
Alongside its stunning and unique striped composite neck design, the Lindo Afterlife features an innovative carbon fibre-reinforced neck. Two carbon fibre rods run down the neck parallel to the dual-action truss rod, creating a rock-solid, stable neck that holds tuning exceptionally well and provides far greater stability than a traditional all-wooden guitar neck.
This is a feature we’re bringing to several of our premium models, and we’re really excited for you to experience it.
Frets
The carbon fibre isn’t the only hidden upgrade on the Afterlife. It features beautiful stainless steel bullet frets. This bullet fretting technique involves manually filing and polishing every single fret end to create an ultra-smooth playing experience, eliminating the possibility of sharp fret sprout.
Stainless steel is a fantastic premium fret material compared to traditional nickel frets. It polishes beautifully, is far more resistant to wear, and greatly reduces the likelihood of needing a refret in the future — perfectly suited to an instrument you’ll want to keep for life.
Pickups
The Afterlife features brand-new pickups that are now being used across our latest electric range — and they sound incredible. They deliver all the fatness you could want from a pair of humbuckers while still retaining a huge amount of clarity.
As random as it sounds, one of my go-to pickup tests is to crank up the gain and play “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. The chorus of that song has always revealed great pickups to me. The fatness of the strummed chords combined with the clarity of the individual picked notes ringing out all at once is an excellent test that instantly exposes muddy pickups — and the Afterlife passes with flying colours.
Great pickups should be versatile, and these certainly are. Whether you’re playing death metal, jazz, or blues, the Afterlife sounds fantastic. The pickups provide a clean, articulate tone suited to any genre.
Aesthetic
I don’t think there’s much to say here — just look at the thing.
A beautifully figured Japanese tamo ash top, a snake-shaped sound hole, a dyed black maple fretboard, and stunning holographic mother-of-pearl inlays. This guitar is absolutely breathtaking.
The entire Lindo team is incredibly proud to bring this guitar to market, and we’re excited to hear what you think of it.
