A Quiet Farewell to the Lindo Voyager Bamboo
A look back at one of our favourite Voyager versions, made with bamboo and now discontinued due to the shortage of suitable guitar-grade material.

Over the years, the Lindo Voyager has been made in several different materials.
Each version had its own character, but the bamboo Voyager has always held a special place for us.
There was something very natural about it. The look was clean and warm, the feel was different from a more traditional build, and the material gave the Voyager a quiet identity of its own.
For us, it became one of the most memorable versions of the model.
But sometimes, a guitar is not discontinued because we stop believing in it.
Sometimes, it is discontinued because we refuse to make it in a way that does not feel right.
Good guitar-grade bamboo is not easy to source consistently. The demand for this type of material is also very limited, which makes stable production even more difficult.
Rather than compromise the quality, the finish, or the standard we expect from the Voyager, we have made the decision to discontinue this version.
We still have a small number of Voyager bamboo models in stock.
Once they are gone, they are gone — and we do not expect to bring this version back for a long time.
It is a quiet farewell to a guitar we are genuinely fond of.
Not every model stays in production forever, but some leave behind a story worth remembering.
