Twelve strings.
One original.
A single handmade instrument, with its own grain, its own details and no serial number.
This Earth is a one-of-a-kind twelve-string sample. It brings the familiar Earth design into an individual instrument: figured timber, a line of teal, two soundholes and a small constellation of shell and maple.
Its character is there before a string is played. Follow the figure across the soundboard, trace the abalone around its edges, then look beyond the decoration to the reinforced composite neck and blended microphone/piezo electronics.
There is only this one handmade sample. It is not a numbered edition, and it carries no serial number.
01 · The individual instrument
One sample.
The complete picture.
From the front, the highly figured Tamo ash forms a broad, warm canvas beneath the twelve strings. Turn the instrument over and the flatsawn zebrano introduces a different pattern: darker lines flowing through the back and sides.
These photographs show the sample as a whole, not just its decorative details. The full-size, 41-inch format sits alongside an 80 mm body depth and a 25.5-inch scale. The original listed weight is 2.7 kg.
02 · A line of shell
Detail that follows
the whole instrument.
Maple binding draws a pale boundary around the timber. Just inside it, abalone purfling brings small shifts of green, blue and warm shell to the front and back. It is a fine line rather than a broad decoration, leaving the grain room to remain the centre of the picture.
On the playing surface, the custom Flora design takes a different form: mother-of-pearl and maple set into the teal composite fretboard. The materials connect the separate details without making each one identical.
Across the front.
The shell follows the body outline and circles both openings. Against the Tamo ash, it adds a close-up detail without disguising the natural figure.
And around the back.
The rear purfling continues beside the neck heel, where zebrano, maple and the composite neck meet. The story does not finish when the guitar turns away.
03 · Two small worlds
Earth and Moon.
A recognisable signature.
The two openings sit together beside the teal fretboard: the larger Earth soundhole below, the smaller Moon above. Their off-centre arrangement gives the instrument its recognisable face and leaves a broad sweep of figured ash beneath the strings.
Abalone traces both circles, while the Flora inlay travels down the playing surface beside them. The visual details sit together as one composition, with the original soundhole dimensions kept clear below.
The original specification identifies Lindo Custom Hollow bracing inside the body.
04 · Where the strings meet the body
Twelve strings.
Details worth looking at.
At the bridge, the cool teal of the composite returns against the warmth of the soundboard. Twelve brass bridge pins sit in two rows, each finished with an abalone shell dot. Their small circles echo the shell around the body and soundholes.
A compensated bone saddle completes the visible string path. The twelve-string arrangement is a practical part of the instrument, but here the hardware also continues the visual language: composite, bone, warm metal and changing shell.

05 · Beyond the surface
A composite neck.
A considered structure.
The C-shaped composite neck has a River skunk stripe, a two-way truss rod and dual carbon-fibre support rods. The exterior is visible in the heel photograph; the supplied construction illustration explains the arrangement beneath the fretboard.
The playing surface is teal composite, with a 16-inch fretboard radius and the custom Flora inlay. Its 21 rolled-edge stainless-steel frets, 2.4 mm fret specification and 48 mm bone nut sit within a full-size, 25.5-inch scale: clear reference points as you get to know the instrument.

06 · The other end of the string path
The headstock.
Front and back.
The extended headstock carries six machine heads on each side. From the front, figured timber and the Lindo name continue the natural finish; from the rear, the chrome housings sit against the darker composite surface.
The original specification lists diecast chrome machine heads with a 19:1 ratio. Both photographs are kept at full proportion so the individual tuning hardware and the shape of the headstock can be seen clearly.
07 · The amplified chapter
Two ways to capture it.
One accessible panel.
The BS3M brings together an undersaddle piezoelectric pickup and a soundhole microphone. The blend control lets the player choose their balance; three-band EQ, a built-in tuner, phase and a notch filter sit alongside it.
Those controls give the amplified side of the instrument its own place in the story. Rather than hiding the practical details behind the finish, the original panel photograph and the controls below show what is fitted to this sample.
