Lindo AfterLife: Ancient Symbolism, Modern Guitar Design

A closer look at the Lindo AfterLife headless electric guitar — a chambered design inspired by ancient Egyptian symbolism, built with modern materials, hardware, and playability in mind.

Editing photos of the latest generation of Lindo guitars….This is the Lindo AfterLife! We are massively excited to introduce this to all our fans worldwide and make available to preorder with stock arriving in early June 2026. -Simon (Creative Director)

The Lindo AfterLife was designed to feel different from the very first glance.

It is not only a headless electric guitar. It is a guitar built around atmosphere, symbolism, and the meeting point between ancient ideas and modern design.

The inspiration comes from ancient Egyptian imagery — symbols of life, protection, mystery, and the journey beyond. On the black composite fingerboard, the abalone sea shell inlays stand out like small flashes of light against the darkness. At the 12th fret, the Eye of Horus sits at the heart of the design, a symbol often associated with protection, awareness, and restoration.

That sense of story continues through the body.

The AfterLife features a chambered sycamore body with a snake-inspired soundhole, paired with a highly figured Japanese Tamo Ash top. The natural movement in the wood gives each guitar its own character, while the chambering helps the instrument feel resonant, balanced, and alive in the hands.

But this guitar is not only about appearance.

The neck is built using our composite construction with dual carbon fibre rod reinforcement, designed to bring extra stability and long-term confidence. The black composite fingerboard gives a strong visual contrast to the inlays, while the luminous side dots help guide the player in lower-light playing environments.

The hardware and electronics were chosen with the same balance in mind.

With dual Lindo humbuckers, a headless bridge system, stainless steel frets, a zero fret, and a spoke-wheel truss rod, the AfterLife is made to feel modern, practical, and ready for a wide range of playing styles.

For us, the AfterLife is part of a new generation of Lindo guitars.

It carries the mood of something ancient, but the feel of something forward-looking. A guitar shaped by symbols, wood, structure, and sound — made for players who want an instrument with both character and purpose.
