These workshop photographs capture a stage you do not usually see on a product page. Unfinished bodies. Prepared fingerboards. The shapes and details of an instrument before the finishing and assembly bring everything together.
Even now, before the white finish, there is no mistaking the idea.
01 · A story worth continuing
Sixteen years. A new electric chapter.
Our first White Dove acoustic guitar began its journey in 2010. Sixteen years later, we are carrying that idea into a different kind of instrument.
Creating an electric White Dove was never simply a matter of putting a familiar name on another guitar. We wanted it to have its own identity while keeping the quiet, distinctive character that gave the original its meaning.
A different shape. A different voice. The same dove at its heart.
02 · Recognisable before the finish
The dove is already there.
Look at the unfinished body in these photographs. There are no pickups fitted, no controls to turn and no strings to play. Yet the dove-shaped detail is already part of the woodwork.
That matters to us. The White Dove identity should belong to the instrument itself, rather than feel like something added at the end.
Before it becomes a white guitar, it is already a White Dove.
03 · Follow the flight
A small flock along the fingerboard.
The fingerboard carries the story further. Against its dark surface, the pale dove inlays are visible long before strings and frets become part of the picture.
Their changing sizes and arrangement give the design a sense of movement. Your eye follows them along the neck, connecting the instrument’s smallest details with the larger dove on the body.
This is the kind of continuity we look for: not decoration for its own sake, but details that feel as though they belong together.
04 · Beyond the front view
The back tells a story, too.
Turn the body over and the view becomes more practical: the routed cavity, the drilled holes and the preparation for parts that will eventually sit inside or against the wood.
These are not usually the details that sell a guitar in a photograph. They are, however, part of making the finished instrument work as a whole.
We want to give those less visible areas the same consideration as the features everyone notices first. A beautiful front view should never be the end of the conversation.
The meaning remains
A new voice.
The same peaceful spirit.
For us, the dove represents peace. Taking that idea into an electric guitar does not change its meaning. Whether the music is quiet, bright, powerful or full of energy, we hope it can create a little connection in a world that often feels divided.

The work continues
Every finished guitar begins here.
There is still work between these unfinished components and a guitar ready to play. Finishing, fretwork, assembly and setup all have their part in turning a promising design into an instrument.
We are giving that work our care and attention, because someone will eventually choose one of these guitars to make music of their own.
The White Dove Electric is no longer only an idea for the future. It is taking shape — one body, one fingerboard and one detail at a time.
The next chapter does not begin with the first note.
It begins with the care that comes before it.
