The Lindo Afterlife is part of a new generation of Lindo guitars, featuring premium build-quality, woods and hardware.
The Lindo Afterlife is a feast of stunning woods and materials, carefully selected for visual effect, balance and tone. There is a harmony between traditional natural wood vibes and cutting-edge composite woods.
The body of the AfterLife is sycamore with a generous “snake chamber” for resonance. The top is a highly figured Japanese Tamo Ash with a flame maple binding, which beautifully contrasts the metallic black gloss finish. The combination here creates a guitar which is balanced, bright and resonant.
Black composite not only offers stability, but we wanted it as black as possible to compliment and contrast the custom inlay design in colourful abalone seashell. Simon, our creative director, had this inlay sequence idea in mind for some time and was extremely happy to bring it to the Lindo Afterlife. The mystery and symbology from Ancient Egypt is still powerful and recognisable today – a match made in heaven here.
At the centre of the AfterLife, are two Lindo handwound humbuckers with mirror chrome mounting rings. We designed a set of alnico pickups which are extremely versatile, opting for 13k output in the bridge and 7.1k in the neck. This means that you can play anything you like on the Lindo AfterLife – from crystal clear cleans to blistering metal.
