Swallow V2 · a second chapter in colour

THE STORY STILL FLIES.
The Swallow V2 begins before the first note: purple and pink feathers move across the top, the colour continues along the maple fretboard and bridge, and a Dreamcatcher inlay waits at the twelfth fret like a quiet point on the route.
Beneath the artwork is a full-size spruce-and-sapele electro-acoustic guitar, with a mahogany neck, practical F-4T electronics and small luminous landmarks for the darker room beyond home.
The first sweep of colour
The body tells the opening chapter.
A spruce top forms the face of the guitar, with sapele at the sides and back. Across it runs the feathered artwork: brightest around the centre, then spreading outward into blue, violet and pink lines.
The dreadnought cutaway leaves room to reach all 20 frets. At 100–120 mm deep, the body retains the proportions of a full-size acoustic while the artwork gives the familiar shape an identity of its own.
A quiet symbol at the centre
The Dreamcatcher waits at the twelfth fret.
The purple-stained solid-maple fretboard carries the colour away from the body. At the twelfth fret, the genuine mother-of-pearl Dreamcatcher becomes a small focal point beneath the strings.
Two practical details
Bone at the bridge; light along the neck.
The solid-maple bridge is finished in the same soaked-through purple stain as the fretboard. A 43 mm bone nut and compensated bone saddle mark the speaking length of the strings.
Along the neck edge, Luminlay side dots provide position references after the room becomes dim. Charge them with light before playing, then let the small markers do their quiet work.
The final line of the artwork
The headstock completes the flight.
The graphic language continues to the headstock, where chrome-finished Lindo alloy machine heads use a 15:1 ratio. The reverse view returns to the practical foundation: mahogany neck, clean construction and access to the two-way truss rod.
When the room asks for more
Tune, shape and choose the route onward.
An under-saddle piezoelectric pickup feeds the F-4T preamp. Its master volume and four-band EQ—bass, middle, treble and presence—sit beside a built-in chromatic tuner, keeping the essential amplified controls on the guitar.
Before it leaves Bristol
B-stock receives the full final preparation.
Each guitar is professionally set up before dispatch. The process checks its cosmetic condition, F-4T electronics, neck relief, nut height, action, frets, fretboard, tuning and final playability.
The appearance marks may vary; the preparation remains consistent. That is where the B-stock explanation ends and the player’s part of the story begins.
