The Lindo Feeling Electro Acoustic Guitar – Design and Concept

Designed in-house at Lindo Guitars in Bristol, UK, the Lindo Feeling is mainly a sapele wood construction. Sapele gives this guitar its gorgeous characteristic tones and style. As well as the beautiful wood grain figuring, look closer and you’ll find the decorative laser-engraved body flame detail. The open-pore satin finish is a pleasure to experience and was specifically chosen to give this guitar plenty of “air”.

What a Feeling

The body of the guitar is an all sapele construction which, combined with the nato neck, produces a well-balanced depth of sound. The Lindo Feeling responds very well to fingerstyle techniques and strummed chords. The Venetian cutaway gives players full use of the 20 fret neck and keeps the body nice and light.

The contrasting white detailing of the body and neck binding and the bridge and fretboard inlays marries the whole design together. The bone nut and saddle also continue this theme as well as producing excellent string tone and accurate intonation.

Feels Natural

The headstock has a sapele veneer which displays the classic Lindo metallic laser-cut logo. To compliment the headstock logo, you’ll find the smooth-action chrome machine heads. The black walnut fretboard has elliptical inlays which make this design a real eye-catcher.

The action on the Lindo Feeling is setup to be light and low (around 2.5mm at 12th fret). This allows you to hold chords down and play faster up and down the neck. The C-shape neck profile is extremely user-friendly for both strumming accompaniment and serious fingerstyle players.

Feeling Electric?

The Lindo Feeling plays and sounds like a great acoustic guitar but has the added benefit of an integrated preamplifier. The TOPS-4T preamp unit includes a tuner display on the backlit LCD. There are LED indicators to show whether the string note is sharp, flat on in-tune. The piezoelectric pickup under the bridge saddle provides a direct source to an amplifier or audio interface via the jack or XLR output.

EQ and explore

The preamp also includes an equalizer with bass, middle, treble and presence control sliders. These can be adjusted within a range of +/- 12dB, which means it’s easy to find the right tone to cut through a mix or boost a lead section. There is also a master volume dial and a low battery indicator.

Playing live, recording at home or in a professional studio, the Lindo Feeling will inspire you to create those warm acoustic tones.

This guitar is very easy to tune and use. You do not have to push hard on the strings to get out the wonderful sound from it. It is very easy to handle and it quite light. I recommend this guitar for any beginner. When I first picked it up it came with a battery in side and it took about 30 seconds to tune and iv never tuned a guitar before. Please put out more comments to help people chose the guitar they want to buy. Thanks Lindo for a great good looking, feeling, sounding guitar.

My 14 year old son has been asking for an electric acoustic guitar for a while and we chose this model for his birthday in response to favourable reviews. He already has two classical guitars, both with beautiful tone and we weren’t sure what to expect from an electric acoustic model – we were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the guitar and the sound and he is absolutely thrilled. It has completely restored his love for playing and his enthusiasm is great to see. I would highly recommend this model on the basis of price, value for money and lovely tone.

I am in no means a pro guitar player but I bought this guitar because I wanted a change from my others as theyre either cheap sounding or electric and this pleasantly surprised me. It sounds amazing and looks amazing. The picture of the guitar is a lot more red-er than it is in real life, in real life it looks nice and wood-like which is great in my opinion. Overall I am very pleased with this guitar, also the built in tuner is extremely helpful. I am one happy customer.

This is the best guitar i have ever seen and used it has got such a great feel and it plays so well if anyone is considering buying this i would definitely recommend it. i have fallen in love with it.

Nice colour! Really nice engraved pattern, overall a really good guitar for the price! The only drawback was that although the tuner worked flawlessly for most of the strings, the tuner was quite dodgy for D and G string and for the tuner to pick up the sound I would have to pluck the strings quite hard. Also, the nut was too high causing a couple of problems however it was quickly sorted by filing it down. The truss rod wasn’t adjusted properly and was causing the neck to upbow. However despite these problems, once sorted the guitar was very sturdy and sounds really well. Quite chuffed with this purchase. It has survived several performances and 4 plane journeys. 🙂

This was the perfect guitar for me as I wanted one that would connect to my mac via Garageband. This fit the bill perfectly. I am also impressed with the digital tuner which works a treat. This is my first guitar and I am very happy with it. Excellent build quality, sound and feel.

Great value for fantastic quality sound, love the carved fire gives it a fantastic look. Would definitely recommend purchasing this guitar. Also customer service great.

My first guitar, very attractive aesthetic value (flame engravings!) The mahogany body is gorgeous, I did intend to paint the guitar I get but that is way out of the question now! . There’s a good sound that makes it very satisfying to play My fingers hurt from playing ! I think this is a great choice for a first guitar or indeed if you wanted an electro.

I’ve been paying guitar for about 5 years now. The look of the guitar was what first caught my eye and I thought for the price it was worth seeing if it was as good as it looks.

    It is.

The action is smooth and the sound is bright and clear. The finish on the guitar is great and the machine heads are smooth and well built. I’ve not plugged it in yet but the inbuilt tuner works accurately.

I normally play a Yamaha acoustic and this just about competes on playability… Of course the Yamaha was about 4 times the price.

Overall this is a great guitar and I would certainly purchase from Lindo again.

  10. COLM MC GUIGAN

Excellent guitar. Beautiful looking and sounds great as well. Value for money. Bought this guitar for my 17 year old son for Christmas he was absolutely delighted. When guitar arrived, got a phone call from Lindo, really nice bloke wanting to know if guitar was ok and to advise us that we could call them for anything. Old fashioned customer care, well done Lindo.
