The Neptune V3 begins with a simple thought: a left-handed bass should feel like it was waiting for your hands all along. Its 30-inch short scale keeps the first position closer, while the familiar acoustic body brings the low notes into the room with an unhurried, welcoming voice.
In matte black, it does not need to ask for attention. The offset soundhole, gentle cutaway and quiet silhouette allow the details to appear at their own pace—one line, one note, one evening at a time.

Short scale is not about making the instrument feel smaller in spirit. It is about making the route between thoughts and notes feel more immediate. With its 30-inch scale, the Neptune V3 gives the left hand a more compact stretch, while the slim C-shape mahogany neck keeps the journey calm and familiar.
The 42 mm ABS nut, 20 frets and two-way truss rod form the practical foundation beneath that easy first impression. It is a bass for beginning a line, returning to one, and staying with it a little longer.
The route begins above
Quiet precision at the headstock.
Every journey up the neck begins at the machine heads. The Neptune V3 uses chrome-finished alloy tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio, giving fine movements a measured response when it is time to tune before a rehearsal, a recording or a late-night session.
They sit at the start of an instrument designed with restraint: matte black surfaces, clean hardware and a headstock that feels purposeful rather than loud.
A different silhouette
The soundhole steps aside. The bass steps forward.
The Neptune’s offset soundhole gives the top its unmistakable pause. It lets the familiar acoustic-bass outline become something more personal, while the spruce laminate top and sapele back and sides give the instrument its wood-and-air foundation.
Inside, laser-cut hollow bracing reduces internal mass so the soundboard can move more freely. The result is an acoustic construction with room for resonance, response and the small harmonic details that keep a bass line alive.
Details that wait to be found

The ebony-effect composite-wood fretboard and bridge give the Neptune its dark, composed surface. At the 12th fret, the mother-of-pearl Planet Core inlay offers a quiet centre point; at the bridge, the same material story continues with clean, practical purpose.
When the room grows darker
A clear sign when the lights go low.
The luminous side dots are a small detail with a useful job. Charge them with a phone light or torch and they offer a visible reference along the edge of the fretboard when the room, rehearsal space or stage is not at its brightest.
It is not a dramatic gesture. It is one of those quiet practical choices that lets the player keep their attention on the music.
The voice beyond the room

The integrated F-4T Bass preamp brings an onboard chromatic tuner, master volume and four-band EQ—bass, middle, treble and presence—into a single, straightforward control point. The under-saddle piezoelectric pickup carries the Neptune from its acoustic voice to an amplifier, audio interface or mixing desk when the moment asks for more.
The unseen chapter

The most important parts of an acoustic instrument are not always the most visible. The Neptune V3’s internal bracing, spruce top and sapele body work together behind the matte-black finish, letting the soundboard do the work it was made to do.
