NEPTUNE V3
A different orbit.
A matte-black silhouette. An off-centre opening. A small planetary landmark where the hand meets the neck.
The Neptune V3 draws on minimal art and sculpture, bringing a different visual rhythm to a familiar acoustic form. Nothing needs to compete with the finish: the outline, the soundhole and the inlay each have their own space.
Look beyond that first impression and there is a full-size electro-acoustic to get to know, with a C-shaped mahogany neck, dark-dyed maple under the fingers and onboard electronics for the next room.
01 · A change of perspective
The familiar.
A little off-centre.
A soundhole is usually the first place the eye expects to settle. Here it sits away from the centre, leaving a broad, uninterrupted expanse of matte black beneath the strings.
The detail is distinctive without needing an elaborate finish. Around it, the cutaway and the curve of the body keep the instrument recognisably acoustic; inside, the laser-engraved label adds a quieter detail to discover.
02 · Landmarks along the neck
Finding your way.
The all-black line is punctuated by two different kinds of reference: the Planet Core inlay on the playing surface and Luminlay markers along the edge. One belongs to the Neptune's identity; the other helps you keep your place when the light is lower.
A small world in the fretboard.
The Planet Core design places a mother-of-pearl landmark at the 12th fret. Against the dark-dyed maple, its pale lines give the eye a clear point of reference without changing the guitar's restrained palette.
When the lights settle.
The Luminlay side dots sit where a quick glance is useful. Their luminous appearance gives the neck an additional visual reference in lower light, alongside the fretboard's off-centre position markers.
03 · Beneath the finish

Detail underneath.
The finish brings the design together; the materials give you the practical picture. The Neptune combines a spruce top with sapele back and sides, a mahogany neck, and dark-dyed maple for both fretboard and bridge.
A C-shaped neck and two-way truss rod form part of that construction. The full-size 25.5-inch scale and 20 nickel-alloy frets remain straightforward reference points as you get to know the instrument.
04 · From the room to the amplifier
Tune. Shape.
Choose a connection.
The F-4T brings the amplified side of the Neptune into one accessible panel. A piezoelectric pickup feeds the preamp; the tuner, master volume and four-band EQ let you prepare the guitar and adjust its amplified signal before choosing the output that suits your equipment.
The controls, close at hand.
Bass, middle, treble and presence each have their own control, with master volume alongside them. The chromatic tuner uses a backlit LCD and indicator lights to help you see the note and its tuning position.

The next connection is yours.
The standard quarter-inch jack provides a connection to an amplifier. Alongside it, the balanced XLR output offers another route to compatible PA, mixing or recording equipment.
These are practical choices rather than a change to the guitar's visual character: the output module remains part of the same all-black instrument.

05 · The line continues
A considered finish.
Right to the headstock.
The headstock carries the Neptune's angular outline and dark finish to the end of the neck. Black-finish alloy machine heads keep the hardware within the same visual palette.
The 19:1 gear ratio is the mechanical detail behind the tuning adjustment. From the shaped face of the headstock to the machine-head housings at the rear, the design continues as one complete instrument.
06 · Before dispatch
The details before
the first song.
Before dispatch, the Neptune goes through Lindo's full UK setup checklist. The work brings together the condition of the instrument, the adjustment of the neck and strings, the operation of the preamp and the final playability check.
From neck relief to the last inspection, each check has its place. A truss-rod Allen key is included with the guitar.

The Neptune is listed as a 41-inch full-size guitar with a 25.5-inch scale and a 43 mm nut. The original dimension drawing is preserved at full width, with its labels also available as readable text below.
The original specification lists a body depth of 100 mm; the supplied drawing labels a range of 90–100 mm. Both source values are retained here.
