Jeffrey Barr –
Just a heads up: I am still a beginner when it comes to playing bass, so I don’t really know all the intricacies and terms when it comes to being a bassist, but my goodness this thing is great!
Right out of the box the bass came with a case, and a few Allen Wrenches, both of which were completely unexpected to me! But when I plugged the bass into my AMP, I noticed a distinct ringing sound when the strings hit the fret-board. Just to be clear, I have never had a new bass before, so this was the first time I had encountered an issue like this. I contacted a friend of mine who specializes in modifying guitars, and he had told me that the strings just needed to be broken in, so I’ve been practicing with it daily.
The pictures don’t do the design justice. The purple lightning against the black body really brings the whole thing together, giving the purple some subtlety gives the bass an over-all feel of professionalism (as it deserves).
If I have one issue that needs to be addressed, it would be that the bass pick-ups seem to be quite a bit quieter than either of my previous bass guitars. It could just be my amp, but I barely needed to set the volume at max when playing with my band. With this bass however, max volume barely cuts it. I’ll probably end up installing more powerful pick-ups, or just invest in a more powerful bass. It’s ultimately a minor gripe, but one that I felt needed to be addressed.
For the price, this bass has thoroughly impressed me. The quality goes far beyond any other basses that were in the same price range, and super happy that I took a risk and had this imported to me. I look forward to doing business with Lindo in the future. 🙂

My son chose this as a Christmas present, swayed mainly by the design. I did a little research on Lindo and thought that this would be a good starter instrument for him to learn how to play.
I’ve had a few bass guitars over the years and I must say that I’m really impressed with this. It has a nice tone and, in terms of playabilty, it’s easily comparable with other guitars I’ve owned which have cost a lot more. I’ve played it through a 200 watt rig and would happily gig this- it looks and sounds great.
Mr. Smalley –
We’ve now used this guitar for over six months so I feel I can give a fair review of its quality and how it sounds. Initially worried that bass guitars at this price range would be of poor quality (shown most readily by ‘buzzing’ whilst playing) and with parts falling off it, I am so glad that nothing could be further from the truth. This is a well made, sturdy and reliable piece of kit that also sounds amazing, producing a deep and clear tone.
Congratulations to Lindo Guitars for their excellent guitar and the feeling that they care about what their consumers desire in an instrument.
In short, one of our best purchases on Amazon.

Bass came as described with very quick delivery, they even called to tell me when my bass would be delivered. Very impressed would buy again!
Mr. G. G. Duddy –
I bought this bass guitar for my wife as she wanted it and she read great reviews on it.
It is a stunning looking bass guitar and it sounds really good. My wife loves it and would really recommend it. It is also light as she has played heavier bass guitars, so that is a bonus too.

Beautiful quality bass with a beautiful play quality, both with and without amplification. Also nice and light, perfect for playing for long periods of time with less strain on your shoulder.

This Bass is actually so brilliant. I was joining a new band and I knew I needed a new bass but I’m a student and couldn’t pay a whole lot of money. But its actually such a good bass i am so pleased with it I haven’t put it down since I got it. If you are thinking about buying this just go & buy it. I put it off for ages and I wish I hadn’t! 10/10.

I have had two of these guitars. The first I had to return due to a fault as the 7th fret E was buzzing every time. The rest of the bass was fine and of course I did everything to try and fix it myself to no avail. Lindo insisted I returned through amazon and they reimbursed me for delivery, there are not many couriers that will deliver a guitar so this was a huge inconvenience.
The second I am extremely happy with. Came very well packaged, looks immaculate and holds tune very well. I had to change the strings as they are quite tinny, but now the bass has a lovely sound. No adjustment to the action was needed.
I have played for 15 years and am a lady with small hands but this bass is very comfortable, neck not too wide and not too heavy, just right.
The colour is stunning it gets so many compliments, and the doves instead of dots on the frets are a nice touch.
Bought this for £129 in the sale but would be happy to pay double that. It sounds great even without an amp.
It arrived with a bag, allen keys, strap and amp cable.
My only negative is the jack is low on the guitar so if you’re seated while playing it’s too close to the leg which can bend the cable. It’s not impossible but you just need to be aware of the cable at all times, I have small legs so it’s not a big deal for me.
This would have 5 stars but I had to knock one off due to the first faulty bass I received.

Having played the double bass for a number of years and having recently played on a friend’s bass guitar, I decided to take the leap and buy my own. I didn’t want to spend vast amounts of money on a top of the range Fender, but nor did I want to be disappointed by a low-range guitar from one of the big brands. After a bit of research I found the Lindo Purple Dove, and I immediately fell in love with the design.
On arrival I spent a little while setting up the bass (there are all sorts of video tutorials), and in hindsight I will probably go back and have another go now that I know what I want it to sound like, but none of the changes I had to make were extreme, just tweaks to suit my needs. In a good amp it sounds amazing, and to my (albeit untrained) ear, there is nothing in any way worse about this guitar than expensive Fenders that I have played and heard played.
Pros:
Great price
Great sound
Looks amazing
Feels well made
Cons:
The free gig bag is a plus, but it’s very thin so should only be used as a temporary one while you’re waiting for a hard case / padded gig bag to arrive
As with the bag, the cable (while sturdy) will never give you the same quality as a slightly more expensive one, so it’s worth getting another one, but keep it as a spare
My advice:
Lindo seems to be a brand on the rise – the build and sound quality is great and they are on their way to proving that they can play amongst the big boys. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, attractive and good-sounding bass, look no further.

This is the first bass guitar that I have ever purchased. I bought it unseen. For me It stood out from the rest in the price bracket initially because of its looks. Then when I read up about it the reviewers said that it had a slightly smaller body and that it was lighter in weight than others and was comfortable to hold either sitting or standing. Well, that sold it to me.
On opening the box I found a stunningly beautiful well finished guitar that felt great to play and sounded every bit as good as I had hoped. So yes, it has lived up to my high expectations. My purchase also included a guitar cable and a gig bag. It is such a lovely guitar that I splashed out on a velvet lined case to keep it in. I am going to treat this beautiful guitar with the respect that it deserves.
