The Purple Dove V2 brings its character close to the player: a 30-inch scale, a compact double-cutaway body and a deep purple finish, with mother-of-pearl doves travelling along the fretboard like small signs of movement.
Its measured dimensions tell the practical part of the story—3/4 size, approximately 2.7 kg and 40 inches overall—while the split-coil P hum-cancelling pickup keeps the control layout to one volume and one tone.
The silhouette
Short scale, drawn as one continuous line.
The sycamore body uses a double-cutaway shape, while the maple neck carries a solid laurel fretboard. The 30-inch scale shortens the distance between positions when compared with a standard 34-inch bass scale.
Turn it around and the design becomes quieter: the full front-and-back view reveals the body contour, neck line and body-matched colour working as one composition.
At the centre of the body
One split-coil pickup. Two essential controls.
The Lindo split-coil P hum-cancelling pickup sits at the centre of a deliberately direct layout. One chrome volume knob and one chrome tone knob keep the path uncomplicated.
At the bridge, individual adjustable saddles provide the hardware needed for intonation and string-height adjustment. The chrome finish connects the bridge, controls and machine heads visually.
Small landmarks on a purple route
The doves move; the side dots glow.
Mother-of-pearl dove inlays travel along the solid laurel fretboard. At its edge, Luminlay side dots can be charged with light before playing, providing fret-position references after the surrounding room becomes dim.
The reverse view
Maple beneath the colour.
The back of the headstock returns to the natural maple neck. Alloy machine heads with a chrome finish complete the four-string layout, while the two-way truss rod provides the verified adjustment system within the neck.
The contrast is intentional in appearance: purple on the face, maple at the back, chrome at the points where the instrument is tuned and adjusted.
