Please read · B-stock condition
A brand-new bass. Very minor cosmetic imperfections may be present.
This is a brand-new Lindo Sahara electro-acoustic bass offered as B-stock. It may have very minor cosmetic imperfections, which can vary between instruments. The main gallery and model photographs illustrate the Sahara design rather than the exact cosmetic condition of every bass.

Sahara · Brand-new B-stock · Short-scale electro-acoustic bass
Colour for
the low end.Four strings. A 30-inch scale.
An expressive graphic-art finish, a shorter playing length and an acoustic body with its own point of view.
Designed in Bristol, the Sahara brings four strings into a 3/4-size electro-acoustic bass. Its artwork draws inspiration from African art and the Sahara region, while the slim composite neck and solid laurel playing surface give the design a practical side.
There is more to discover as you turn it over: artwork around the back, a small star at the 12th fret and the connections that carry its piezo pickup beyond the room.
01 · Closer to hand
A shorter reach.
A clear set of proportions.
The Sahara’s 30-inch scale places it firmly in short-scale bass territory. Together with its 3/4-size designation and slim C-shape neck, it offers a different starting point for a guitarist exploring bass, or a bassist who prefers a shorter playing length.
The listed body depth is 75 mm and the bone nut is 42 mm wide. Together with the 30-inch scale, they provide a few useful reference points when considering how the Sahara fits your playing.
02 · Around the body
Spruce, sapele
and a line of maple.
Beneath the graphic-art finish, the Sahara pairs a spruce top with sapele sides and back. Solid maple binding follows the body and fretboard, setting a pale line against the darker artwork.
The design continues around the back rather than ending at the front edge. The rear view brings those larger patterns into focus; the angled body photograph follows the binding, bridge and soundhole from a different perspective. The bridge, like the fretboard, is solid laurel wood.

03 · Small points of reference
A star in the grain.
Landmarks along the edge.
The solid laurel fretboard has a 14-inch radius. Within its darker grain, the 12th-fret nautical star brings together abalone seashell and maple wood, with a small change of colour as it catches the light. Maple wood pyramid markers continue along the face of the fretboard.
Luminlay luminous side dots provide a separate line of position markers along the neck. A little light from a phone or torch charges their glow. The low-light photograph shows that quieter detail, while the inlay film takes a closer look at the star and its surroundings.
04 · From headstock to heel
Follow the striping.
Look at the working details.
The composite wood neck carries an ornate striped appearance, a slim C-shape profile and a two-way truss rod. At the headstock, chrome-finished diecast machine heads have a listed 19:1 ratio.
The reverse view also shows the 20th Anniversary mark. Alongside the front and heel photographs, it places the smaller fittings and the neck’s visual details within the same design.

A change of angle.
The headstock film gives the finish and hardware a little room to move. Together with the still photographs, it is another way to explore the Sahara’s details before hearing it played.
05 · Ready to connect
Your controls.
Your connection.
The piezoelectric pickup feeds the F-4T Bass preamp, bringing the Sahara into an amplified setup. Four-band EQ and an illuminated chromatic tuner keep the main adjustments together on the side of the body.
Explore the fitted controls and output panel here, then watch Lindo’s F-4T operating guide for a practical introduction to the preamp and tuner.

06 · Let the playing speak
Hear the Sahara.
The photographs and motion studies show the design. The official demo and playthrough offers the next part of the picture: time with the bass being played.

07 · Before the first note
A full setup
at Lindo in Bristol.
The practical work matters as much as the artwork. The Lindo setup includes checking the finish, pickup and preamp, setting neck relief, and checking nut height and action.
Fret polishing, fretboard treatment, tuning and a final playability check complete that preparation. Once the bass reaches you, a quick tune-up is the final step before making it part of your own playing routine.
B-stock · Photographic context
A previous B-stock example.
These four photographs come from the previous, individual B-stock listing. They are retained here as examples of that earlier instrument, including its marked cosmetic detail. They do not document the exact cosmetic condition of each bass now available.
The condition description for this listing is simple: a brand-new Sahara bass that may have very minor cosmetic imperfections. The location and appearance of any such marks can vary from one instrument to another.
