Lindo 931C Mahogany Top Acoustic Guitar – Ideal for beginners and intermediate strummers!

The Lindo 931C is an affordable yet high-quality acoustic guitar designed in the UK by Lindo Guitars based in Bristol. As part of our “simple but effective” range of starter guitars, the Lindo 931C is crafted with attention to detail that sets it apart from other budget-friendly options. The mahogany top boasts stunning grain detail and provides a warm, rich tone that is both inviting and expressive. Not only is the Lindo 931C playable and easy to use for beginners, but it also offers exceptional value for money thanks to its construction and finish. Whether you’re just starting your musical journey or looking to add a reliable and versatile guitar to your collection, the Lindo 931C is an excellent choice.

Tonewoods and Features

The Lindo 931C boasts high-quality tonewoods and unique features that set it apart from other acoustic guitars. The linden (basswood) laminate body has a mid-size auditorium shape with a Venetian cutaway, providing easy access to the fretboard. This guitar produces a warm tone with bright, punchy highs, and the solid walnut fretboard adds to its overall tonal quality. The solid catalpa neck enhances stability and playability, while the walnut bridge features a convenient string-through design that eliminates the need for bridge pins. This feature is typically only seen on more expensive guitars, making the Lindo 931C a remarkable value for its quality.

The Lindo 931C Mahogany boasts a slick gloss black offset headstock with vintage-style open gear tuners, giving it a unique and stylish look. The neck is designed with a slim “C-shaped” profile, which is ideal for both strumming and fingerstyle playing. Despite being an entry-level guitar, the string height is set to the industry standard of 2.5mm, ensuring optimal playability and comfort. However, if you prefer a lighter feel, you can easily switch to 10 or 11 gauge strings to reduce finger fatigue. The Lindo 931C Mahogany is designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly, making it an ideal choice for beginners and experienced players alike.

The guitar is very beautiful. The moment I touched it, I felt the connection. Not at all paying guitar. This guitar brings me joys of understanding it.

For the price, this is an extremely good quality guitar. Ideal for the beginner with low string action, a fretboard of just the right width for making chord shapes without over stretching, and a great tone with good sustain. Its slim body means its very comfortable to hold and it also looks nice. This was my first guitar. Although I have now improved since I bought it and now own another guitar, I still play this one. Don’t hesitate . For a first time guitar at a great price get this one !!!!

I wanted a second guitar with a cut away body as a spare and to learn to play slide on and play up the fretboard. I decided to pay a few pounds more than the absolute cheapest and took a gamble on this as it looked so pretty. I am delighted with my choice. It is beautiful, well finished, plays well and sounds good. My first guitar has her nose a little ‘out of joint’ now, bless her.
The Lindo’s fretboard is well made, but would benefit with a little lemon oil dressing to make the fingers flow more easily. it is a guitar that will mature with playing. It comes with an optional stick-on scratch
plate that I believe I will not attach.(Its too pretty to stick plastic on). It is a great guitar for beginner to intermediate and its is difficult to see how it comes at such a price.

  5. Louise Efthimiou

I played guitar for a long time as a child/teen then stopped for a few years before picking it back up over the last year. Really love this guitar as it sounds great and works well for my relatively smaller hands. Great value for money and I definitely recommend for beginners.
