Pushing the boundaries in classical guitar design, the Lindo 960CEQ still maintains traditional appeal. But with modern features such as the on-board preamplifier with chromatic tuner, you can broaden your horizons. Inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Blue Guitar, the striking body top finish stands out from a crowd of plain wood tops. The tasteful inlays are sure to please those with an eye for detail.
With the nylon/steel-string combination, the spruce top gives this guitar brightness and sustain. The mahogany body and neck provide further tone-enhancing qualities for a good low-end response. This guitar has snappy mids and harmonious highs. The Venetian cutaway design in the body looks stylish and also gives players easier access to the higher register of notes on the fretboard. With this kind of versatility available, the Lindo 960CEQ will appeal to traditional classical and flamenco players as well as modern, percussive and virtuoso styles.
Having an on-board EQ with bass, middle, treble and presence, the TOPS-4T preamplifier takes this guitar to new levels for playing live or recording at home. With the dual jack and XLR outputs, you are able to connect to a guitar amplifier, PA or recording interface and the integrated chromatic tuner function provides quick and easy tuning via a backlit LCD.

Nice guitar for a fair price! I didn’t know Lindo guitars and I’m quite impressed by the sound of this guitar. I’m left handed, so I’m used to having to pay a little extra for a good guitar, but I found this one at a fair price and bought it. I have to say I’m impressed. It is just what I was looking for, and I’d say it’s the perfect bargain for an amateur middle-level guitarist such as myself. I wouldn’t really know the difference between this guitar and a more expensive one if put to a blind test, and with similar guitars by Fender, Ibanez, etc. you end up paying a bit extra just for the brand (and in my case, also for being left-handed). I’ve used Ibanez, Fender, Yamaha, etc…and I have to say that although this might not my favourite guitar of all times, it is well worth the 100 quid! You won’t be disappointed!

Lindo is one of the few companies that provide good quality guitars for left handed players without charging extra for the privilege. I needed a left handed nylon string guitar with a cut-away body and an electronic pick-up. I am not a great guitarist so I don’t need anything special, but this Lindo 960CEQ has proved to be perfectly adequate for my needs. The delivery was swift, the guitar arrived in perfect condition, the on-board tuner and EQ system works fine – and the XLR socket is a real bonus in addition to the standard jack socket, offering much better connectivity to an amp. For £100 I didn’t expect any extras and I would have preferred not to receive the free gig bag as it isn’t padded and therefore not fit for purpose. I have ordered a carrying case, along with strap buttons and a strap so that I can get it safely to gigs and then play standing up. While writing this review I have been vacillating between four and five stars; I have stuck with four on the basis that I have had to buy the strap buttons to complete the package that I need. If that niggle is taken away then this lovely looking instrument would be a five star guitar. I am considering buying from Lindo again – I’m sorely tempted by the left-handed Dark Defender – but not until next Christmas!

Really great guitar, (especially for lefties)! A diamond in the rough.
I had been thinking of getting this guitar for a while to add to my growing collection, I am extremely pleased that I took the plunge and bought one! This is a very nice, playable and distinctive guitar that has quickly become my main instrument due to how enjoyable it is to play and the great natural and amplified tone. For lefties, there is not a lot of choice on the market for an acoustic-electric, and I could not justify paying £450 . Sure, it is not a solid spruce top, no spanish heel or truss rod, but at this price point it is exceptional value.
Pros:
– Great neck, playability, nice bright tone
– Great electrics, very nice sound amplified, much more presence than my two other electric nylon string guitars
– Distinctive look, feels like a solid quality build
– Tuners are decent and accurate, despite what one reviewer of the right handed version said, I am very happy with them
Cons
– My guitar had some rough edges in terms of cosmetics / finish, they were small but they do let down what would otherwise be a 5 star product
– I replaced the strings with some Flamenco strings, I would recommend the same as getting the right srings makes a big difference to the sound
