Lindo Earth V2

Slim Body Electro-Acoustic Guitar & Premium Hard Case

Some guitars begin with a specification. Some begin with a familiar shape. The Earth V2 feels as though it began somewhere much further away — with rivers, trees, mountains, oceans and the quiet colours of the natural world.

At first you notice the figured timber. Then a line of teal appears beneath the strings. Abalone catches the light. Antique brass warms the edges. And finally, hidden among all those details, you find two familiar shapes: the Earth and its Moon.

That is where the story begins.

Chapter One

Inspired by Nature

The Earth V2 is built around a simple idea: what if the details of a guitar could feel connected in the same way that different parts of a landscape belong together?

The highly figured Japanese Tamo Ash top brings movement. The flatsawn Zebrano back and sides bring long, irregular lines like the bark of an old tree. A teal river travels along the neck. Mother-of-pearl becomes flora. Abalone recalls water and shifting light. Antique brass introduces the warm colour of weathered metal.

Look at each feature alone and it is simply a detail. Look at them together and the Earth begins to feel like one complete landscape.

The Landscape Beneath the Finish

Japanese Tamo Ash & Zebrano

Across the front lies highly figured Japanese Tamo Ash. Its grain refuses to travel in one predictable direction. It folds, ripples and curls across the top, creating a surface that can suggest mountain contours, water currents or the lines on an old map.

Turn the guitar around and the landscape changes. Flatsawn Zebrano forms the back and sides, with dark stripes crossing warmer timber in patterns reminiscent of bark.

Because the grain is natural, every Earth V2 carries its own individual pattern. No two landscapes will be completely identical.

A River Beneath the Strings

Teal Composite & the Flora Inlay

Among all the warm timber colours appears one unexpected line of teal. The colour-through composite fretboard feels almost like a river cutting through the instrument, cool and vivid against Tamo Ash, Zebrano and maple.

Within it grows the custom Flora inlay. Mother-of-pearl meets maple wood to create a design inspired not by one particular flower, but by the idea of growth itself — leaves opening, branches moving, life appearing quietly between the strings.

The pearl changes as the guitar moves. Sometimes pale and silver. Sometimes warmer. Sometimes carrying the faint colours of the room around it.

Small Details, Close to the Strings

Brass & Abalone Bridge Pins

Even something as ordinary as a bridge pin was allowed to become part of the story.

The Earth V2 uses brass bridge pins, each finished with a small abalone seashell dot. The brass brings a warm metallic accent beside the teal composite bridge, while the shell responds to light with flashes of blue, green and violet.

Six tiny details. Easy to overlook. But once noticed, difficult to forget.

Where Vibration Enters the Body

Composite Bridge & Compensated Bone Saddle

The teal bridge does more than repeat the colour of the fretboard. It forms the point where string energy enters the soundboard.

A compensated bone saddle sits across it, shaped to help individual strings reach a more accurate speaking length. At the opposite end of the string path sits a 43mm bone nut.

Between those two pale pieces of bone lies the full 25.5-inch scale — familiar territory beneath the fingers, surrounded by a very unfamiliar design.

Beneath the River

A Composite Neck with Carbon Fibre Inside

The Earth V2 does not use a conventional all-timber neck. Its C-shape neck is built from composite material, chosen as part of Lindo's modern approach to stability and consistency.

But the part you can see is only half of the story. Inside the neck sit two carbon fibre support rods, working alongside the adjustable two-way truss rod.

The river is visible. The reinforcement is not. Both travel almost the entire length of the neck.

The River Continues

Along the back of the composite neck runs the teal River skunk stripe. It is one of those details the audience may hardly see, yet the player becomes familiar with every time the guitar is lifted.

The colour is not placed there to shout. It simply continues the idea already established by the fretboard and bridge: water moving through an otherwise warm and earthy palette.

At the End of the River

Tamo Ash & Antique Brass

The headstock returns to the timber that began the journey. A matching Tamo Ash veneer brings the figured grain to the far end of the instrument, framed once again by maple.

Six die-cast machine heads use an antique brass finish rather than bright modern chrome. Their 19:1 gearing gives controlled, fine tuning adjustment, while a matching custom truss rod cover keeps the metalwork visually consistent.

Warm wood. Aged metal. And no detail that feels as though it wandered in from another guitar.

Lindo Earth V2 Earth and Moon dual soundholes with abalone rosettes
Planetary Duality

Earth & Moon

Most acoustic guitars place one familiar circle beneath the strings. The Earth V2 tells the story differently.

The larger opening represents Earth and measures approximately 80mm in diameter. Nearby sits the Moon at approximately 20mm. They are separate, yet visually dependent on one another — just as the two shapes are inseparable when we look up at the night sky.

Abalone surrounds the openings, producing a ring of changing blue, green and pearl colour. Inside the Earth soundhole sits a label based around the old alchemical symbol for the element Earth.

A very old symbol, hidden inside a very modern guitar.

Details Around the Edges

Abalone Purfling, Maple Binding & Hollow Bracing

Around the front and back runs abalone seashell purfling, framed by maple binding. The effect is deliberately restrained: a narrow line of changing colour rather than a large piece of decoration.

Along the side sits an antique brass resonator plate carrying Earth branding, another small meeting point between natural materials and aged metal.

Inside, where almost nobody will see it, Lindo's hollow bracing design supports the soundboard while helping the slim 80mm body retain an open and responsive acoustic character.

Some details are designed to catch the eye. Others spend their entire lives hidden inside the guitar. Both matter.

When the Quiet Room Becomes a Stage

Two Ways to Hear the Earth

Unplugged, the Earth V2 needs nothing more than a pair of hands. Its acoustic voice comes from timber, strings, air and the vibration of the soundboard.

But when the room becomes larger, the BS3M system gives the guitar another life. An undersaddle piezo listens at the bridge. A second microphone listens from inside the body.

The player decides how much of each world should be heard.

BS3M Blend Preamp

Blend. Shape. Tune. Control.

The BS3M preamp allows the undersaddle piezo and internal microphone to be blended rather than forcing the player to choose one permanently.

A three-band EQ provides tonal adjustment. The onboard chromatic tuner handles those few quiet seconds before a song begins. A phase control and notch filter provide additional tools when amplified feedback or troublesome frequencies begin to appear.

The electronics are there when needed. When they are not, the Earth remains simply an acoustic guitar.

Lindo Earth V2 jack and balanced XLR outputs
Where the Signal Leaves

Jack or XLR

A conventional quarter-inch jack provides the familiar route to an acoustic amplifier, audio interface or other compatible equipment.

Beside it sits a balanced XLR output, giving the Earth another route into compatible PA systems, mixing desks and studio setups.

One evening it can live beside a chair. The next, a cable can carry it to the other side of a room.

Full UK Setup in Bristol

Before an Earth V2 leaves Lindo Guitars, it passes through the Bristol workshop for its final setup and inspection.

The cosmetic condition is checked. The BS3M electronics are tested. Neck relief, nut height and string action are reviewed and adjusted where required. The frets are polished and the fretboard treated.

Then the guitar is tuned. It is played. Its general playability is checked. And one final inspection takes place before the instrument is prepared for dispatch.

The aim is very simple: when the case opens at its new home, the next chapter should begin with music.

The Final Chapter

Eventually, the Landscape Becomes Familiar

At first, you notice everything.

The Tamo Ash grain. The teal river beneath the strings. The dark stripes of Zebrano. The little flashes of abalone. The antique brass. The Flora growing across the fretboard. The Earth and Moon sitting quietly in the soundboard.

For a while, every detail feels new.

Then one evening you pick the guitar up without looking at it first. Your hand already knows the composite neck. The onboard tuner is used almost automatically. You know which microphone blend you prefer. You know how the Tamo grain looks when the evening light reaches it from the side.

The hard case finds its place beside a wall. The guitar begins appearing at rehearsals. Perhaps the XLR cable eventually carries it onto a stage. Perhaps it spends many more evenings playing quietly at home.

One song becomes three. Three songs become an hour. And the details that once demanded attention slowly become familiar landmarks.

A guitar inspired by enormous landscapes eventually becomes part of a much smaller one: your room, your hands, your music.

And eventually, the Earth V2 simply becomes home ground.
