The Lindo Feeling Electro Acoustic Guitar – Design and Concept

Designed in-house at Lindo Guitars in Bristol, UK, the Lindo Feeling is mainly a sapele wood construction. Sapele gives this guitar its gorgeous characteristic tones and style. As well as the beautiful wood grain figuring, look closer and you’ll find the decorative laser-engraved body flame detail. The open-pore satin finish is a pleasure to experience and was specifically chosen to give this guitar plenty of “air”.

What a Feeling

The body of the guitar is an all sapele construction which, combined with the nato neck, produces a well-balanced depth of sound. The Lindo Feeling responds very well to fingerstyle techniques and strummed chords. The Venetian cutaway gives players full use of the 20 fret neck and keeps the body nice and light.

The contrasting white detailing of the body and neck binding and the bridge and fretboard inlays marries the whole design together. The bone nut and saddle also continue this theme as well as producing excellent string tone and accurate intonation.

Feels Natural

The headstock has a sapele veneer which displays the classic Lindo metallic laser-cut logo. To compliment the headstock logo, you’ll find the smooth-action chrome machine heads. The black walnut fretboard has elliptical inlays which make this design a real eye-catcher.

The action on the Lindo Feeling is setup to be light and low (around 2.5mm at 12th fret). This allows you to hold chords down and play faster up and down the neck. The C-shape neck profile is extremely user-friendly for both strumming accompaniment and serious fingerstyle players.

Feeling Electric?

The Lindo Feeling plays and sounds like a great acoustic guitar but has the added benefit of an integrated preamplifier. The TOPS-4T preamp unit includes a tuner display on the backlit LCD. There are LED indicators to show whether the string note is sharp, flat on in-tune. The piezoelectric pickup under the bridge saddle provides a direct source to an amplifier or audio interface via the jack or XLR output.

EQ and explore

The preamp also includes an equalizer with bass, middle, treble and presence control sliders. These can be adjusted within a range of +/- 12dB, which means it’s easy to find the right tone to cut through a mix or boost a lead section. There is also a master volume dial and a low battery indicator.

Playing live, recording at home or in a professional studio, the Lindo Feeling will inspire you to create those warm acoustic tones.

I purchased this guitar as a present for my daughter who has decided she wants to learn to play.
I have played guitar for quite a while myself and I did not wish to purchase some cheap guitar that would be of no benefit in helping her get the most enjoyment out of learning.
After some researching and reading I settled on purchasing this Lindo and all I can say is…it was money very well spent.
    So the Pros are:
The build quality of this guitar is of a very high standard.
    The guitar looks really stunning.
The acoustics and sound is as good as any of my own guitars (much more expensive).
It seems really smooth and easy to play (I’m a leftie my daughter is right handed).
The action was a tad high IMO, but because the build quality is so good it was an easy fix.
The asking price does not reflect just how good the guitar is!

    The Cons:
Haven’t found any as of yet.

The guitar arrived very quickly – a day before I was expecting – and it was packaged extremely well. The looks are genuinely stunning, especially the main design, and is made with a beautiful finish. The guitar sounds brilliant whether played plugged-in or not, and the pre-amp, plus the two output plugs on the bottom, makes performing with it an absolute joy. This is the best guitar I have ever laid eyes and hands on, and I hope to keep it for many years to come!

I’d been playing my battered old acoustic guitar for as long as I’ve been playing, and when a string peg snapped I decided to treat myself to this lovely new guitar. I absolutely loved it but dropped a star for two reasons
    1. The strings supplied are really tough, but they look very easy to change so no real drama
    2. The colour doesn’t match the picture. Itdoesn’t have the reddish hue that is in the picture, but it is still a nice, natural wood colour. 4.5 stars would be a fair review.

I got this guitar for Christmas and I’m very happy with it. I’m a hobby guitarist, no gigs, etc, so I’m no Bonamassa, but I have a classical guitar and wanted to get the steel string sound. The sound is very nice and the action is nice too. The option given for adjusting the neck is a cool and not something I expected on this price of guitar. Once plugged into my amp I enjoyed the depth of sound it presented. So I’m having lots of fun with this at the moment.
I was really impressed with the feel of this guitar. The mahogany body feels really good and the neck is nicely and fully accessible with the body cut away.
All in all a nice looking, feeling and sounding guitar.

I bought this guitar for my daughter’s birthday. After it was delivered the tuner wasn’t working. I contacted the company and they were exceptionally helpful. They arranged for it to be collected and another was delivered the next day. I would recommend this company. My daughter says she enjoys playing the guitar, it has a good sound. It is great that it has a tuner on it too. She loves the colour and the pattern on it. Overall it is a lovely guitar.

No more than what I expected from a guitar for the amount of money I paid. Cheap materials but to be fair sounded ok.
The action was to high and it was poorly set up. So the playability pretty poor though.
But I suppose for value for money and an entry level guitar its very good, I’ll just use it as a spare.

  9. Alan

Good sound both off amp and on. Tuner good

  10. Avi

I bought this product looking for a nice cheap guitar to play at friends parties and such and this fits the bill perfectly. The sound is rich and warm, the mahogany finish looks brilliant and the ability to change the strings so quickly and easily is a godsend. Would definitely recommend this to beginners who are at the beginning stages of gigging and are looking for a a reliable instrument!
