The Lindo Neptune short scale bass is designed in the UK by Lindo Guitars here in Bristol. We took the best of 3 worlds with this concept. Firstly, you have the slick looks of the Lindo Neptune. Secondly, you have the comfort of a slim body acoustic guitar (only 80 mm depth). Thirdly, you have the playability and comfort of a short-scale neck (30″ as opposed to 34″). Combining these strong elements together has resulted in a very unique and attractive guitar concept.
Our solid walnut fretboard and bridge is always a winner for looks and tone. The figuring is beautiful and certainly represents the quality grade of wood we have selected. The body is of a basswood construction and features the Neptune signature offset soundhole. The offset placement ensures those warm bass tones are captured from the strings and helps to balance out the slimmer body. Therefore, acoustically, you can hear some pleasing tones across the length of the fretboard.
