46 reviews for Lindo 960CEQ Classical Electro-Acoustic Guitar – Picasso Blue

Bought this guitar having seen the great reviews it had revived on Amazon and elsewhere. I believe it originally cost nearly twice as much, which perhaps explains why it is such a good buy for the money. It is well made, and looks very attractive. It sounds good without an amplifier (if a little but quiet – but that’s not a problem) and great with and amplifier, especially if you take the time to adjust the 4 band eq to get the best possible tone, and add some reverb, which makes it sound great. There’s no feedback from the guitar if you leave it near the amp, and the pick up is quiet when the guitar is not being played, so good for live use. The action is low – which means the strings are close to the fret board – if you are considering it for a beginner then this is a very good feature because many learner guitarists are put off when the strings are too hard to press.

I have a lot of guitars – electric & acoustic – but the 1 type I didn’t have was a classical guitar. Then I came across Lindo Guitars on the Amazon website – and watched the demo video of the electro acoustic classical LDG-960CEQ – I was impressed and not long after, was pleasantly surprised to receive one for Christmas. I have played this type of guitar many years ago – so the wider neck and higher action were a little strange a first – but the guitar was perfectly playable straight out of the box, the fingerboard and edges of the fingerboard were finished off to a high standard, something that I have found lacking on more expensive guitars and the intonation was accurate most notably in the 12th fret when comparing the fretted 12th and corresponding harmonic.
Because of years spent playing lower action electric guitars I decided to contact Lindo and ask if it was possible to lower the action (height of strings from fingerboard) by shaving a little off the saddle ( the plastic piece that sits in the wooden bridge channel ) They replied in detail – giving standard measurements as a reference point – all of which I found very helpful. I checked also with a classical guitarist who pointed out that this kind of guitar usually has a higher action but is easier to fret as the strings are nylon. In my opinion this is a very nice guitar for the price (which has dropped again since my purchase) – especially when you take into consideration the versatility the ‘electro’ option gives you.

The sound of this guitar is bliss, nice step up from classical, yet retaining the authenticity of the sound. Fingerstyle banging with this baby is something!! Framework is of very good quality, with a couple of minor scratches, mainly in the lacquering around the rosette. That being said, the price is also very reasonable.

On the strength of the great quality, beautiful build / finish, nice sound and amazing value for money of the electro-acoustic bass guitar that I recently bought from Lindo, I ordered this electro-acoustic classical guitar. Lindo have again delivered a beautiful instrument, safely and very quickly (to France). They are a great company, definitely one to be watched out for in the future as they continue to further establish their business and develop their range of instruments.

Great sound, acoustically and with the help of the amplifier. Very good for beginners. Technical design, very good. Good quality and low price.

I have had this guitar for a few months . The tone is excillent and i have not changed the strings yet. the build quality and design is very good . as far as classical guitars go, i can’t see what you could progress to. The guitar is very easy to play, the tone through the pickup is very good.
I bought this guitar mainly as an acoustic, and i must say, FOR ME , it is perfect. I was very lucky to get this guitar.

I was looking for a classical so that I could start ABRSM grades. This guitar is perfect for that, easy to play and looks (and sounds) really nice. Excellent value for money and a brilliant starter guitar which also sounds decent when plugged into an amp.

I have had this guitar nearly two months now. It really is very well made, and has excellent tone. I bought it as I wanted a not too expensive classical guitar to complement my Ovation, which cost about 3 times the price. However, I find myself playing this much more often than the Ovation. It is superb value for money, and has the feel of a guitar several times the price.

Bought this as a courtesy guitar for visitors (I’m a lefty) and I’m pleased with the value for money. Doesn’t sound half bad and the electronics and pickup are fine. I just wish I’d read the ad more carefully as I’d intended to buy a steel-strung guitar. My fault.
